Magical jar

We used:
water
jar or glass
postcard
You have to fill a jar up to top of water.
Put on the jar a postcard and turn upside down a jar.
It is a magic!

Air preasure exterted on the card from undeneath is greater that the weight of the water in the jar. This is the why the card menages to hold up a water not leting it spill down.

"Waterfall"
Prepare "
- empty plastic bottle
- pointed nail
- water
- adhesive tape
Execution:
1. With a nail, make four holes in the bottle at different heights
2. Use adhesive tape to seal the holes
3. Place the bottle in the sink and fill with water
4. Peel off the adhesive tape strips
What will happen?
Water will come out of every hole, but with different strength. Water from the lowest hole, and the weakest from the highest, will be the strongest.
Why?
In the lower layers, the water pressure is higher than in the upper ones. That is why the water downstairs is flying at a higher speed than at the top.
