    Project description:

    The topics of STEP project are improvement of the School quality and teaching methods through inovation of Curriculum, usage of ICT and new technologies, nurturing creativity and empowering the teachers as well as the students for the future. By sending 6 teachers to professional development in Europe, we want to keep track with technology, use ICT and new technologies for the benefit of the society, development of digital competences, new methods and approaches of teaching in formal and informal learning, as well as encouraging creativity of the teachers and the students. By organizing the activities within the project, the students will be offered possibilities to fulfill their potentials by adapting the content of the lessons and the teaching methods to their needs and interests, from special needs students to the gifted students.

    The objectives of the project are:

    1. empowerment and implementation of life-long learning of the teachers and the students through mobilities and activities within the project with the aim of improving their key kompetences and skills

    2. improving the quality and the efficacy of the lessons and modernisation by introducing new teaching methods of teaching and learning, ICT and digital materials use in formal and nonformal learning.

    3. encouraging creativity and innovation through interculturalism and internationalisation of our institution

    In the project we will collaborate on eTwinning projects Future Schools 2018 and 2019 where our project results will be disseminated. We shall implement new knowledge and skills of the teachers into our Curriculum by making it richer. The new curricula of additional activities in technical and art group will be developed by using CLIL method, new curriculum of ICT group by using new ICT tools and coding, new curriculum of film and journalists group with the aim of improving media literacy and digital skills, eTwinning group curriculum for international cooperation and creating new curriculum of English Club for students to learn extra English through reading. Throughout the project we shall provide many dissemination activities from the local to the international level, as well as online. Also, we shall organize special days in our School and workshops for teachers and students.

    The impact of the project through empowered skills and knowledge of our teachers will also motivate students to reach  higher results in learning, and by encouraging their talents and innovation through creativity, they will acquire key skills and competences needed for their future education and jobs, thus improving their employability. Throughout the project we want to nurture tolerance, interculturalism, digital citizenship and literacy, social inclusion, positive attitudes of the students, teachers and the community to live and work in the EU community as active society members.
