International Museum Day was yesterday, Friday, May 18. Its aim is to raise awareness on the fact that museums are an important means of cultural exchange.
In this context, we visited the Archaiological Museum of Ancient Corinth (http://www.corinth-museum.gr/en/).
At first we went around the Museum and tried to find exhibits that depicted animals.
Animal figurine with abdomen and neck incisions.
Rim from a krater decorated with dolphins.
Mosaic floor from a Roman Villa.
Then we learned about the Greek Myth of "Arion and the Dolphin" and we played a theatrical game.
You can read here the myth: https://www.uexpress.com/tell-me-a-story/1996/11/3/arion-and-the-dolphins-a-greek
We had a lot of fun!
