Introduction of the project

  • his project represents the fulfillment of specific objectives that the school set out in the "Concept of further development ŽŠ Morkovice, organizations 2016-2019"
The project is aimed at strengthening the interdisciplinary relations of elementary school students. Primarily on linking knowledge of geography / geography / history and civics, foreign language, art, mathematics, and work with ICT. All these areas are interconnected during the preparation of worksheets on which they will work under the supervision of the pupils themselves and methodical guidance of their teachers.
It is important to show pupils how the information, presenting teachers in individual subjects,  are connected and how it is necessary to know how to connect with one another and creative approach to their treatment.
An important factor is getting self-confidence and a sense of the work done on the project outputs which students can present to their peers and parents as a concrete result of their creative and long-term work. It is necessary to motivate students so positively to further work and education, because that is a good motivation in the long learning process inadequate.
The project will support restoration of the historic partnership between schools from the 70s and 80s of the 20th century, when carried out exchanges of students and teachers.
The first step to restore the partnership were celebrations of the 90th anniversary of the school Morkovice elementary school in 2014, when the school invited a delegation from the J.W. school Simek, Žitavany. Both schools are members of the LAG (local action groups). These Mas Hříběcí mountains and MAS Mikroregion Tribečská are also partner MAS. With this bond was possible to visit teachers and school pupils Morkovice sporting event Žitavany Olympic Games in 2015 and a further meeting with representatives of MAS and Slovak teachers in Morkovice in 2016.
The output of the project - worksheets, will be applicable to all pupils of both schools involved. However, the target group of pupils will be in the fourth through seventh grade and severity of these worksheets will be adapted to the target group. The project will therefore primarily distributed among the students of these classes, teachers will work sheets appropriate to include in lessons such as working extra material.
Worksheets are also relevant for pupils from the two regions, which I offered thanks to the cooperation of local action groups.
