FIRST STEPS OF SELECTIVE WASTE

COLLECTING

Part of our Erasmus team visited Ecoisland, a modern selective collecting station. The students received QR garbage bags of different colours for different types of waste and they talked to the mayor about the importance of collecting, recycling and selecting waste.

OUR PLASTIC DIARY 1

The students fromSecondary School Ghimbav kept a diary in which they wrote down  the quantity of plastic their family bought as well as the quantity thrown away. Then they started adding the numbers and they reached the conclusion that we use a big quantity of plastic and everyone has to change habits in order to protect our planet.

Earth Day 2019!

Earth Day was celebrated by the students of Ghimbav through "One Hour for Planet Earth!" They went with rollers, trotters, skateboards, bikes or on foot. Students made drawings, posters, drew attention of the community on the importance of environmental protection and the need to reduce CO2 footprint.
