  • Everyone Matters: 5Goals4Inclusion

    Many types of discrimination are obstacles in achieving real equality or equal opportunities at school and outdoors. That´s why disruptive or unwanted situations occur. With this project, we aim to find ways to foster inclusion and tolerance, and to avoid discrimination and exclusion. Learning from the past and acting now, we want to contribute to a better world where we all can live peacefully. Students will develop their ability to communicate in English and they will also develop their ICT skills.

    Objectives

    - Learn about different types of discrimination related to educational difficulties, cultural differences, disability, economic and social obstacles.

    - Understand the importance of social and educational inclusion, and the benefits of positive peer relations.

    - Reinforce critical thinking and creativity.

    - Promote respect of human rights, tolerance and diversity.

    - Meet international students and become part of a new community.

    - Boost students' ability to communicate in English.

    - Improve communication, collaboration and ICT skills.

    Process of work

    Goal 1. Plannification of the project / Introducing our partners / Getting to know each other. Each student is paired with a partner and gets information from him/her to present him/her. (September-October)

    Goal 2. International teams investigate on different types of discrimination: xenophobia, discrimination based on religion, racism, discrimination against people with disabilities, sexism, ... / Real cases  (November-December)

    Goal 3.  International teams work on inspiring texts: Looking for inclusion. (January-February)

    Goal 4. International teams create different products for inclusion and against discrimination. Vote on the best one. (March-April)

    Goal 5. Final products. Each school presents the project / the campaign to the community. Evaluation and conclusions. (May-June)

    Expected results

    Presentation of the campaign 4Inclusion to the school community with a video and a digital book.
