1. The title and the outline of the project

  • WHY THIS TITLE ?

The title " How about some Salmon ? " is a play with words with double meaning .

On one hand it means : would you like to learn more about the National poet of Greece and why he  wrote poems in Italian before he wrote in Greek?

On the other hand it plays with the meaning of the name of the poet : Solomos ( the poet's last name in Greek  )  means " salmon ", the fish , as depicted on the family's coat of arms . So it is a playful way to offer  a "dish" of knowledge in the same way as you might  in a formal dinner .
