Is Saint Valentine's Day a tradition in your country? Or just one more excuse to put up beautiful window displays and sell more? It is certainly celebrated in the anglo-saxon countries but we've decided to find out if retail stores in the partner countries also have especial sales or window dressings so we are send our students in a new quest:

VALENTINE’S DAY ACTIVITY

1. Take a walk along the main shopping streets in your town and pay attention to the shop windows. Any special decorations or sales on occasion of Valentine’s Day? Peep inside the shop, maybe they have a special Valentine’s display inside.

2. Take pictures of different window displays you see.

3. Pay attention to the type of retail store or brand that have special Valentine’s Day decorations or promotions.

4. Note down the slogans or phrases used, and in which language they are.

5. With all the information you’ll gather and the pictures you’ll take you’ll have to write an article for the TwinSpace.
