2. Where is our tree? The little owl travels from tree to tree

  •

Our little red owl has already started her travel!

Can we help her locate our countries and cities?  (using ZeeMaps).

When she will arrive to our school, we will welcome her gently, introduce our tree to her, play with her, take photos with her and our tree  (we post our photos or a short presentation in this page).

Memories from little owl' s visit in Poland

Hello, dear friends! Our Owl has visited the first tree: the Quercus robur,
which is commonly known as pedunculate oak. We found it near our kindergarten.

The Owl left our Kindergarten and went to Kindergatren No. 340

My class took to each other the little owl to kindergarten. We have very big a horse chestnut in our garden. Memories from little owl' s visit in Romania

Hello, dear friends! The Red Owl has visited Romania and another tree: the linden tree. Linden is one of three English names for the tree genus Tilia (also known as lime and basswood). Tilia × europaea, generally known as the common lime (British Isles) or common linden (North America), is a naturally occurring hybrid between Tilia cordata (small-leaved lime) and Tilia platyphyllos (large-leaved lime). It occurs in the wild in Europe at scattered localities wherever the two parent species are both native. It is not closely related to the lime fruit tree, a species of citrus. The flowers are produced in clusters of four to ten in early summer with a leafy yellow-green subtending bract. They are fragrant, and pollinated by beesThe flowers of linden tree have not yet appeared at this time. The little Owl was fascinated by the tree encountered and immediately became my student's friend. Tomorrow our friend will fly to another country, Turkey, to find another tree.

Memories from little owl' s visit at 8th Kindergarten of Kilkis Greece

Hello dear friends! The little red owl arrived in our school and we are very happy about it!!

We presented to her our school, our classroom, we hugged her, we sang to her, we talked with her. Little red owl met our tree, the precious olive tree. She learned a lot of things about this tree and we are sure that she will leave more wise...

Here are some of the activities we prepered for little red owl:

We made a map with the route of her journey, just not to be confused and we showed it to her.

We made an olive tree in the classroom just to sit and rest from her long journey. We put some birds on it,to have a company.

We went outside of the kindergarten in order little owl to meet some real olive trees.

We narrated some myths and stories about olive tree.

    We draw together!!!

We had a wonderful time together!! Little red owl you are so cute!!

We are very lucky to meet you, we love you and always remember of you!

Have a nice and safe journey :)

Memories from little owl' s visit at Kindergarten of Taxiarchis, Chalkidiki - Greece

Hello our partners! The little red owl arrived in Taxiarchis this week and we welcomed her with hugs and kisses.

We took her for a walk in our village because we wanted to present the fir tree that represent our village. After that she visited our classroom and we told her every information, stories and myths that we learned about fir trees. Then we located her to the nest of our classroom's fir tree that we made with a lot of love to rest her from the journey in Europe.

Nowdays she is part of our team and a new friend of ours!
