We, chemistry and art partnes all together, will try to show a chemical experiment setting the explanation as storytelling. We will tell the experiment making a presentation set as a comic strip.

  WORK PROCESS

Period	Step	Activities
April	1	Chemistry students will perform the experiment in lab, take photos and create a presentation set as a comic strip. Presentation’s characters: students.
April - First half of May	2	Chemistry students will image the experiment from the point of view of atom and molecule. They will write a text, as a text of theatre, in which atom and molecole tell, step by step, what happens at them during the experiment.  Art student will partecipate in the creation of this screenplay, in order to decide how to represents the nano world of atoms and molecules.
April - First half of May	3	Art students will create drawings based on screenplay. Adding speech ballon, it will be create a presentation set as a comic strip. Presentation’s characters: atoms and molecules.

 

HOW

This is an innovative way to create a didactical material for a chemistry topic. This is a double challenge: telling an analytical experiment from the point of view of atoms and molecole and being able to interact with partner of a very different specialization, in order to create a unique material.
