Children with Special Needs and their Rights

  • RIGHTS OF THE CHILDREN SEEN BY US - Portuguese Team

    Dear partners,

Today, in  School Library, students heard the story "Elmer" and answered the question: "Have you ever felt different like Elmer?"

After that, each of students has illustrated his own Elmer and the schoolmates helped to discover what makes each of  them different – a special one – as Elmer.

Now we are going to send you the elephants illustrated by

in order each country can make an little exhibition in order the school community feel the Difference and the importance of the Inclusion (you can do that at School Library, for example). So the students who participate in this project can choose one of this Elmer and complete the sentence “ I am also an  Elmer because…”.

After this each country must put in TwinSpace one photo of this exhibition which has made at his school and also the photos of each student with her chosen Elmer and the completed sentence.

Hope you will enjoy in this task!

GERMAN TEAM, USING DRAMA EXERCICES, EXPLORED DIFFICULTIES IN THE LIFE OF DISABLED PEOPLE

    ------------------------------------

    Dear partners,

Greetings from the suburbs, plays the elementary school  Vinko Žganec, Zagreb, 2014.

Drama group Cvrkutani and head of Snježana Čubrilo
The play was created in non-whole drama pedagogy: Dramatic games and training methods, the expression of students' personal experiences, common (students and head) design scene and connect the whole stage.
We investigated the problems that students cited as common in their lives and in their neighborhood .
This is how the performance of the four images: the first two schoolbag and satellite music as a part of school life, and the other two show life outside of school and home, in the village, more precisely, on the site of the local names Šumica (forest).

This show are students decided to "donate" their peers and others. So we played for an association that deals with people with special needs, and we agreed talks at pediatric wards in two hospitals in Zagreb (April and May 2015). For this we are particularly proud.

Note: The recording was made in four parts and is to look after the order (cinematographer she did not know the course of the show) and some smaller parts are missing. We hope that despite understandable.

The inscription in the first scene :

"Hello , we're from the suburbs!"

The inscription in the last scene:
    "Greetings from Kozari bok!"
    (name of our Neighborhood)
