Ins Can Margarit is located in Corbera de Llobregat. Corbera has got about 15.000 inhabitants. It has two small city centers (Corbera Alta and Corbera Baixa) and a lot of residential areas (30 approx.). The town is close to Barcelona, just 20 kilometers far and it is surrounded by mountains and green pine trees.

Our secondary school is only ten years old. The teachers are 32 and they are all experienced and qualified. There are over 300 hundred students. We are not a big school, which is one of our strong points. Students study from Monday to Friday. Teenagers from first to fourth grade study in the morning from 8.00 to 14.30. The number of students in a class is about 24. Subjects fall into the following major areas of content: Catalan and Spanish language and literature, Foreign Languages, English and French, Mathematics, Information Technologies, Social Sciences, Natural Sciences, Music, Art, P.E and Drama. 

Teachers and students are open to new techniques, methods, and information exchange, so that's why they like to take part in Erasmus+. Expression is one of our strenghts, and above all, Oral Expression. Foreign languages are very important in our school. Students have the chance to take official Delfe and Cambridge exams. One of our distinguishing marks is Drama in English. We teach theatre during our English lessons, because we think it helps students to use the English language in a "real" context. Drama also helps students to deal with shyness and makes them confident. In the 4th grade, we have one hour English Drama a week. During the second and the third term we rehearse a play and in the end of the school year we perform it in front of students in Primary Schools of the town.

Participating in a partnership with schools from different countries will give students the opportunity to practice foreign languages and increase their motivation towards language learning. We believe that working with teachers from other countries will provide an unique opportunity for job shadowing: exchanging methods and experiences will make the difference.
