As this is the first day of our project, we are very excited. However, we believe that we'll complete our project successfully as we have strong partners and great activities.

Bugün projemizin ilk günü olduğundan, epeyce heyecanlıyız. Bununla birlikte, güçlü ortaklarımız ve harika etkinliklerimiz olduğundan, projemizi başarıyla tamamlayacağımıza inanıyoruz.

-Today, I created the facebook page of the project. Then, I invited the project partners, my students and the teachers in the school to the group. Here is the link:

-Proje ekibini oluşturdum ve öğrencileri Twinspace'e kaydettim. Öğrencilerim etkinliklerimizi yapmayı sabırsızlıkla bekliyor.

AUGMENTED REALITY/AURASMA/QUIVER/CHROMVILLE

-Artırılmış Gerçeklik ve bu teknolojiye dair Aurasma, Quiver, Chromville uygulamaları hakkında öğrencileri bilgilendirdik. Quiver ve Chromville sitelerinden indirdiğimiz boyanabilen sayfalarla öğrencilerimiz çok eğlendiler. Evlerinde küçük kardeşlerine boyama yaptıranlar oldu. Öğretmenlerimizin de dikkatini çeken Quiver ve Chromville tarafımızdan çok beğenildi. Hücre çekirdeğini üç boyutlu gören Biyoloji öğretmenimiz, yanardağ patlamasını uygulamalı gören Coğrafya Öğretmenimiz kendileri için örnekler aldı. Yaptığımız uygulamaları panomuzda paylaştık.

-We gave information about Aurasma, Quiver and Chromville, which are Augmented Reality  applications. Our students had fun with the pages downloaded from Quiver and Chromville sites. They not only painted the pages cheerfully but also took them to their homes for their siblings. These applications also got attention of the teachers in the school.  Our Biology Teacher took a sample page seeing animal and plant cell with Quiver. Our Geography Teacher also got a sample seeing volcanic eruption with Quiver too.

-Aurasma uygulamasını sınıflarda, panoda tanıttık. Çok beğendiğim bu uygulamayı başka projelerimde de kullandım. Mesela Farklılıkların Farkındayız isimli projemizin panosuna astığımız Tourette Sendromu hakkındaki açıklama, Aurasma ile anlaşılması çok kolay hale geldi.Sınıflarda okutmak ve çeviri yaptırmak üzere hazırladığım paragraflarda da kullandığım bu uygulamayı öğrencilerim çok sevdi.

-We gave information about Aurasma. I also used this great application in my other projects. For example, explanation about Tourette Syndome which is a subject of our project Farklılıkların Farkındayız (We are aware of diffecrences/About raising awareness) became easier with Aurasma. My students loved this application and Augmented Reality technology a lot. I also used this technology on paragraphs I prepared for my students.

-Here is an explanation about how to use Aurasma. I also shared some videos in our facebook group about creating auras.

 

-Our teachers also liked Aurasma. I and our Maths Teacher Ayfer created an aura of a maths problem. Then, we shared it on the board.

-Öğretmenlerimiz de Aurasma'yı sevdi. Matematik Öğretmenimiz Ayfer ile birlikte bir matematik problemi aurası hazırladık ve panoda paylaştık.

 

-At the school corridors, we used Aurasma too. Last year we applied it on some boards. We added some more this year. For example, we prepared a picture about Autism for one of our projects and created an aura telling what autism is.

-Okul koridorlarında da Aurasma kullandık. Geçen yıl bazı panolarda kullanmıştık, bu yıl birkaç tane daha ekledik. Mesela, Otizm hakkında bir tablo hazırladık ve otizmi anlatan bir aura yaptık.

-Next month's subject, using Aurasma.

-We gave information about Class Dojo in the group. The teachers with lower age group students loved it more. I used it for my 15 years old group students. They enjoyed it a lot. I especially liked creating groups in classes and rewarding them.

-Class Dojo hakkında grupta bilgilendirme yaptık. Yaş grubu daha küçük olan öğretmenler bu uygulamayı daha çok sevdi. Ben de 15 yaş grubu öğrencilerim için kullandım, çok sevdiler. Özellikle gruplar oluşturup, onları ödüllendirmeyi beğendim.

-This is survey prepared using Survey Monkey. We asked our students how much they know about technology. We informed partners in the group about googledocs too. Some of them preferred it for preparing such a survey.

-Bu Survey Monkey ile hazırlanan anket. Öğrencilerimize teknolojyi ne kadar bildiklerini sorduk. Grupta googledocs ile ilgili bilgilendirme de yaptık. Bazı ortaklarımız anketlerini onunla hazırladılar.

The students were told to download a QR code scanner. Then, they looked for the codes that I prepared.

-Öğrencilerden QR kod uygulaması indirmeleri istendi. Daha sonra onlar için hazırladığım kodları okulda zamanla yarışarak arayıp buldular.
