Because it is often cheaper than shopping on the high street, as shopping websites don’t have as many overheads as high street stores. However, it’s possible to find even lower prices with a few simple tricks.

    • a debit or credit card if you decide to buy something.
    Thera are several wys how to do the shopping online. First of them is to browse on the Internet and find a web page where you like the
    goods and buy it. There specialized online shops, where you can get goods in good prices, you say - What a bargain! there are some
    of them:

    eBay is one of the most popular ways to buy and sell goods and services on the internet. It's a website where individuals and businesses

    can buy or sell new or second-hand items, from books and clothes to cars and holidays.

    eBay’s key benefits and features

    • Using eBay is a good way to make a bit of money from clearing out your cupboards and getting rid of things you don’t need any more.
    • To buy or sell on eBay, you must register, but this process is free.
    • eBay gives you a choice when purchasing – to ‘Buy it now’ at a price displayed or to bid for the item in an online auction.
    • You can check the reliability of a seller by reading feedback from previous customers.
    • If you’re a bargain hunter, try the ‘Daily Deals’ and ‘Fashion Outlet’ pages for discounted goods.
    • Be warned: as a seller, eBay will charge you a fee, and as a buyer, look out for postage and packaging costs that might be added on top.

    Amazon is a popular online shopping website where you can buy a wide range of new and second-hand items, from books and music to

    computers and cars.

    Amazon’s key benefits and features

    • You must register to buy on Amazon but this process is free.
    • The prices of goods are often lower than in high street stores, and the cost of delivery can be kept low or is free depending on the
    • service you choose.
    • You can save items you like to a 'wish list' so that you can buy them later.
    • Amazon remembers your previous purchases and wish lists, and recommends other items specific to your interests.
    • You can download electronic books (e-books) or music on to your Kindle or smartphone.
    • If you create a public profile, you can share your wish lists and reviews with others.
    • You can also sell on Amazon, but fees apply and it is predominately used by small or large businesses.
    PayPal is an online tool for safely storing your bank account and card details, so you don’t have to type them into a website when shopping or
    selling online.
