Past Simple
Use:
We use the past tense to talk about:
- an action that started and finished at a specific time in the past :
I saw a movie yesterday.
I played basketball on Saturday.
I cooked dinner for my family last night.
I studied Spanish when I was a child.
I finished work, walked home, and found a cat infront of my door.
Negative
We make negative form with DIDN’T + INFINITIVE FORM
You didn’t win.
I didn't clean the room.
Question
With the past simple, we use DID+ INFINITIVE FORM.
We use words like where, what, why and when:
Did you win?
What did they do?
