Our charter as active European e-citizens

  • In your project league, design a charter in which you list rules for the responsible use of modern (online) technology.

Use the reading technique “scanning” (http://www.aacc.edu/tutoring/file/skimming.pdf) to quickly go through the booklet “Web We Want” and identify chapters and pages on which you can find information that is important to the solution of your task. A mindmap or taking notes can help you to prepare for this task.

If you have problems accessing the booklet by clicking on the link above, you can find the complete URL here: http://www.webwewant.eu/documents/10180/18685/Handbook_for_web+lght.pdf/11922503-f1c3-45a4-817d-0795cff0b199

In your project league, think about the following things when working on your league's charter:

    1. How should we use modern media today?

    2. How should we treat others that we encounter online?

    3. How do you we want to be treated by others online?

Go to the Google Document that everybody of you can edit by clicking on your project league below. Be careful and do not 'destroy' the work of others by mindlessly clicking about the document. Any misconduct will be identified, and will lead to consequences for the person not carefully handling the document.
