PROJECT AIM                

          In which part of the world can you hear people speaking Greek apart from Greece? 

      This project is an intecultural dialogue between Greek students who live in Athens and Italian           students who live in Southern Italy. It aims at helping students probe into their past to discover the cultural links between Greece and the Greek speaking villages of Southern Italy.

 

     PROJECT OBJECTIVES:  

     Students will :

• present their culture to their partners and find similarities and differences
• learn about each other's customs and traditions
• develop their linguistic skills in English in real life situations
• make meaningful use of new technologies in a creative way
• cooperate towards a common goal, to discover the origin and the evolution of "Grico", a minority dialect spoken in Grecia Salentina
• develop their artistic skills
