Working in Chania in Greece which hosts the Spanish refugees:

Today, 13/03/2017, at Chania in Greece, welcomed the three refugees from Spain Marta, Gustavo and Roberto. Cristina and Marisa are going to take care of Marta., Gustavo will be hosted by the students, Stelios and Dimitri who are excited to offer their help Gustavo. Manos and Nikolas asked Roberto to come to their house, so they can offer food, clothing and toys. He will also bring him to school, so Roberto will be able to continue his studies.

Σήμερα, 17/3/2017, στα Χανιά στην Ελλάδα, καλωσορίσαμε 2 ακόμη πρόσφυγες από την Ισπανία, Πάμπλο και η Σάρα. Αλέξανδρος, ο Γιώργος, η Ειρήνη, η Μελίνα, Βασιλική, η Μαρία και η Χαρούλα είναι πρόθυμοι να τους υποδεχθεί και να τους προσφέρουν στέγη και τροφή. Θέλουν επίσης να φέρει Pablo και Sarah στο σχολείο μας, το DDMN Πρωτοβάθμια Επιτροπή Εποπτείας Bienvenidos en el Nuestro Pais y en la Nuestra Escuela, Pablo y Σάρα!

Students Larnaca, Kiti Primary school in Cyprus and his students DDMN Primary School of Chania, Greece, talked to refugees at a live event on 22.03.2017. While students of Chania, Greece, presented the refugees, called Stella, who travels to Spain, students in Cyprus shared with us their story, that are themselves refugees in their own country because of the island's division !

The young Greek students (aged 7) is impressed and shocked, because it is something strange to meet with the real refugees.

 

Will thank their teacher, K Andriani, to let them have that opportunity. Ms Andriani explains that refugees are just like all of us. The difference is about the experience they have.

It was an amazing meeting online!

MY STUDENTS (IES AGLINARES -SANTANDER-SPAIN) RECEIVED A PARCEL FROM DDMN PRIMARY SCHOOL IN HANIA-GREECE!!          THANKS SO MUCH!!

 

 

 

After working together the two schools from Chania-Greece and Santander-Spain, the students exchanged gifts by post. Moreover, the Spanish students informed their partners by CARDS about the well being of the "Greek" refugees who went to Spain.
