To celebrate Christmas as active citizen journalists, children from Valladolid and Grangetown are going to become active chefs, designers and inspectors to create their own 'sustainable recipe' according to the Global Goals for sustainable development and the campaing #recipe4change.
Our objectives:
- Introduce the global goals for sustainable development and promote our role as active citizens
- Understand the concept of "sustainable cooking' and the impact on our lives and the world.
-Make a sustainable Christmas recipe collaboratively between schools according to global goals
- Develop a more active, open and responsible attitude towards diversity and world challenges.
- Integrate collaborative activities and promote the use of ICT tool/twinspace
We are going to learn what does sustainable cooking mean and start cooking from scratch our recipe according to it. Both schoolS are going to collaborate and exchange ideas while making the recipe...Let´s see if we can make a very yummy ´sustainable´ recipe!
- Learning what is sustainable cooking (searching on the internet, design posters, piccollage..)
Exchanging and sending posters through post so both schools can contribute with ideas and designing them together!
- Great eTeam work!
Exchanging posters has been a great opportunity to carry our peer assessment between schools!
Exchanging video-challenge to discuss which recipe make using ingredients grown at school (apples from our yard). Children from Spain came up with the idea of an typical Spanish apple cake.
- Exchanging ideas, videos, pictures... through padlet. https://padlet.com/c_rodvix/tvp70u8resif
