Hello, dear partners!The 6th graders of the 1st Experimental Primary School of Pyrgos are taking part in the project. I am a teacher of English and we are collaboarting with the teacher of French, Nelly Vourtsi.Our school is near Ancient Olympia in the Peloponnese. We discussed about what monument to choose. We decided that the landmark we will present is the Partnenon, the temple that dominates the hill of the Acropolis at Athens.We will present some more characteristic features of Greece.Looking forward all the presentations!
Dear all,We are a group of 48 students in year 10 ( 1(-15 year old students).In our school we have about 800 pupils from 11 to 14 years old. Our school is situated in a rural area. It is a mixed school where pupils can choose several languages : English , Spanish, German and Chinese. English is also a European option. (English and ICT). We have a speacial need group, a project option in year 9 (13 year old pupils). Pupils can choose an entrepreneurship- orientated section in year 10.Lamballe is in the north east of Brittany. It is 20 to 30 minutes from the coast.Numerous touristic sites can be visited. The closest city is St Brieuc (25 minutes from Lamballe), Rennes and St Malo are an hour drive away. Paris can be reached in 3 hours by train and 5 hours by coach.Natacha Caremelle.
