Nalle finds out about Día de los Muertos at Whitehouse Common Primary

Nalle spent Tuesday 1st November with Y4 and 5, finding out about Día de los Muertos, a Mexican festival that is celebrated on 1st and 2nd November. Here's a video that shows what he saw!

 

And here is an animated story video about the festival. It's a lovely story that shows how the festival is not about being scared or sad, but about celebrating those who are no longer with us, and feeling close to them.
