    FINLAND

Our mascot is a typical Finnish Nalle (i. e. a teddy bear). Our handcraft teacher Hanna made clothes especially for our Nalle. Juho (8 years old) designed the T-shirt and trousers. Thank you, Juho, for your drawing :)

Choosing our mascot - Whitehouse Common Primary School

The Language Leaders who represent classes in years 3-6 met to choose a mascot for our project. They chose from a monkey, a brown bear and a teddy bear, and overwhelmingly voted for the teddy bear in dungarees!

Then we voted on his name and decided that he needed two names. So, William (named after William Shakespeare and Prince William, Duke of Cambridge) Henry (named after Henry VIII) Bear was born!
