WORK PROCEDURE

  • DURING THE FIRST MEETING IN MAZARA WE WROTE A WORK PROCEDURE FOR THE FIRST YEAR.

     

             

    Work procedure:

    1. Make groups of four students.

    2. Hand out different aspects of labor between groups (religion, family, society-political organization, media, army, - battles - wars, science, chronological frieze art -in architecture-sculpture-painting, farm life, etc.

    3. Allow three sessions so that students investigate these issues and seek a historical fact that there is a point of contact between the two cultures by placing the narration.

    Will be assessed:

    • The work of the group.
    •  The silence at work.
    •  The group cohesion.
    • What tasks are shared.
    •  That historical fact sought to appear at least two countries or cultures.

    4. Oral presentation in class: each group explain what they have found, can use computer support (PWP, Prezi ...) the other students take notes and ask questions, as they will use these notes in their stories. These presentations should last two sessions.

    Will be assessed:

    • The domain of the subject.
    • They have used  can use a format.
    • What exposure have a pattern or an index.
    • They all members participate in the exhibition.
    • What is a bibliography or Web graph.
    • clarify doubts and questions made by other students.

    5. Choosing a historic moment, invented protagonists of the story, a "historical character". Design of the plot of the story (one session).

    6. Make a historical story about the time the group will have three sessions with players invented a story about the historical

    Will be assessed:

    • That story has a beginning, middle and ending.
    •  The proper orthography
    •  The extension of the narrative.
    •  Appropriate presentation.
    •  The consistency of the narrative
    •  Using the information found class and his group.
    •  There are no anachronisms.
    • Using words or names of the historical moment.

    7. Once finished and edited stories will be translated into English. I sent to the partner institute. Narratives received from the institute will partner translated into their own language.

    8. We will pass a questionnaire so that students appreciate their work and the work of peers, so criticize what they have done and try to improve the process.

    9. The best stories will be submitted to a professor of history at the University of Lleida in order to verify the historical accuracy and make improvements there.

    10. The process, rubrics and questionnaires will be submitted to a professor of psycho-pedagogy  at the University of Lleida in order to verify the suitability of the process and make improvements there.
