We are Chiara and Erica and will talk about italian sky. Our sky is different from your sky becouse we are in the boreal emisphere.

The reference star is the polar star and it's one part of the Ursa Major. When we look at the sky during the night, we don't see so many stars because there is much pollution. We must go to the mountains for better seeing the stars. During the night of S. Lorenzo the Earth get closer to a band of asteroids, so the 10th August we can see many falling stars. When the night arrives, the first star that we see is not a star, but it is a planet: Venus.
