Short description
Students working in teams will explore how to turn cardboard into various games, come up with their own ideas and create their own games using cardboard. Teams will present their prototypes to other teams and will receive feedback. They will improve their prototypes and work on promotional activities. Again, teams will give each other feedback and there will be a final exhibition of the created products. Each team will decide how to use the final product (e.g. a present for younger children, disabled people, retirement home, won use at school, selling and donating etc.).
Goals
The main goal is to let students develop their 21st century skills. Students will be creative, collaborate in teams, collaborate with foreign teams, solve problems, present and evaluate their work, learn how to give effective feedback, develop their IT skills and use English meaningfully. They will also learn about sustainability, recycling and upcycling, they will learn that it is not always necessary to buy new things, they will realize there are many DIY tutorials in English, they will realize they are capable of more than they probably think.
