    Užupis

    Užupis is a republic of artists, sometimes compared to the Montmartre district of Paris or Christiania in Copenhagen. It is famous for its own anthem, the constitution that can be read at the beginning of Paupio Street (it is written on the fence), the President, the Bishop, the oldest cemetery, Vilnius Bernardines, two churches and the bronze angel of Užupis. Mes rekomenduojame aplankyti Užupį tam, kad galėtumėte pasisupti ant supinių virš Vilnelės upės, prigriebti puodelį kavos ar arbatos ir atrasti visas gatveles bei apžiūrėti nuostabius menininkų darbus.

    CAPRI-Valentina La Mura 3°Acl

    One of my absolute favorite places is the island of Capri!
    I love its beauty! It enchants you with the its places suggestion and with heartbeat views. The sea water is crystal clear, you can even see the bottom! It’s rich of caves among which the most famous is the “Grotta Azzurra”, but also the famous Faraglioni are enchanting: small rocky islets that seem to emerge from the deep blue waters pointed towards the sky.

    Amo la sua bellezza! Ti incanta con la suggestione dei suoi luoghi e con vedute da batticuore. L’acqua del mare è cristallina, puoi persino vedere il fondo! è ricca di grotte fra le quali la più famosa è la Grotta Azzurra, ma anche i famosi Faraglioni sono incantevoli: dei piccoli isolotti rocciosi che sembrano emergere dalle acque azzurre e profonde puntati verso il cielo.

    The Cavour Gallery is the heart of the most historical bologna, and still alive. Meeting place between art, culture, education and commerce. This represent the shopping Bologna with the most famous and researched brand, but it is also located in the centre of the medieval city. A casket with streets, squares, churches and palaces that make bologna the only in the world.

    La Galleria Cavour è il cuore della Bologna più storica e ancora viva. Luogo di incontro tra arte, cultura, istruzione e commercio. Rappresenta la Bologna dello shopping con la marche più importanti e ricercate ma si trova anche al centro della città medievale. Uno scrigno con vie, piazze, chiese e palazzi che rendono Bologna unica al mondo.

    POSITANO-Concetta Serrapica

    One of my favorite places of all is Positano; a small town on the Amalfi coast. It is a wonderful place! It enchants you with its narrow and steep streets, full of fantastic shops. It being overlooking the sea, has small squares with unique views. The beaches and the sea, with its blue waters, create a fantastic harmony.
    In short, it is a wonderful treasure chest to be discovered!

    Uno dei miei posti preferiti in assoluto è Positano; un paesino della costiera amalfitana. Esso è un luogo meraviglioso! Ti incanta con le sue stradine strette e scoscese, ricche di negozi fantastici. Esso trovandosi a picco sul mare, ha delle piazzette con vedute uniche. Le spiaggie ed il mare, con le sue acque azzurre, creano un'armonia fantastica.
    Insomma, esso è uno scrigno meraviglioso tutto da scoprire!

    VIESTE - Maria De Stefano

    My favorite place is Vieste, a small town in the Gargano, in Puglia. Vieste reminds me a lot of my dear Amalfi, full of beaches and craft shops. Why is this city my "place of the heart"? Because after two years of pandemic, of loneliness, this city has really managed to make me smile!

    Il mio posto preferito è Vieste, un piccolo paese del Gargano, in Puglia. Vieste mi ricorda molto la mia cara Amalfi, piena di spiagge e negozi di artigianato.Perché questa città è il mio "luogo del cuore"? Perché dopo due anni di pandemia, di solitudine, questa città è riuscita davvero a farmi sorridere!

    One of my favorite places of all is Ischia:Ischia is an international tourist destination, offering crystal clear waters, unspoiled landscapes, cultural sites and many other surprises.
    Its rugged coasts are characterized by a succession of headlands, coves and beaches where seawater mixes with hot water from the thermo-mineral springs that flow a few feet from the shoreline.Ischia è una meta turistica internazionale , che offre acque cristalline, paesaggi incontaminati, siti culturali e tante altre sorprese.
    Le sue coste frastagliate sono caratterizzate da un susseguirsi di promontori, calette e spiagge dove l'acqua del mare si mescola all'acqua calda delle sorgenti termominerali che sgorgano a pochi metri dalla battigia.

    Diego Armando Maradona Stadium- Simone Imperati 2ACl

    The Diego Armando Maradona stadium is my favorite place in Naples,
    because it is where the football god Maradona played. This stadium was originally called San Paolo but was renamed in honor of Maradona after his death and in my opinion it is one of the most beautiful stadiums in existence. I chose this place because it is an honor to be able to say that this stadium hosted the god of football Diego Armando Maradona.


    Lo stadio Diego Armando Maradona e il posto di Napoli che preferisco, perché è dove ha giocato il dio del calcio Maradona. Questo stadio all'inizio si chiamava San Paolo ma è stato rinominato in onore di Maradona dopo la sua morte e secondo me è uno degli stadi più belli che esista. Ho scelto questo luogo perché è un onore poter dire che questo stadio ha ospitato il dio del calcio Diego Armando Maradona.

    Bologna - Aurora Martone

    Bologna is an Italian city far from mine, but that is close to my heart because I have many memories in this city. It’s famous for the red arcades present throughout the city and its University. In the historic center there are various towers, including the medieval Torre di Garisenda and Torre degli Asinelli, various historic buildings such as the Palazzo del Podestà and various churches such as the Gothic Basilica of S. Petronio.

    Bologna è una città italiana lontana dalla mia, ma che mi sta a cuore perché ho tanti ricordi in questa città. È famosa per i portici rossi presenti in tutta la città e la sua Università. Nel centro storico ci sono varie torri, tra cui le medievali Torre di Garisenda e Torre degli Asinelli, vari edifici storici come il Palazzo del Podestà e varie chiese come la gotica Basilica di S. Petronio.

    Sant'Antonio Abate - Roberta 3CTT

    Abito a Sant'Antonio Abate, vicino Napoli. Il mio posto preferito nella mia città è Arena Abatese, un'area giochi nel centro della città. Nel mese di luglio mettiamo tanta sabbia in questa area per organizzare un evento speciale: un torneo di beach volley per dilettanti e professionisti. Questo luogo mi piace perchè è anche un luogo di aggregazione per i giovani. Qui di solito incontro i miei amici e ci divertiamo molto.
    I live in Sant'Antonio Abate in the Naples area. My favourite place in my town is Arena Abatese. This is a playground in the city center. In July we put sand in it and organise a special event: a beach volley tournament for amateurs and professional players.I love it because it is also a meeting place for young people. Here I usually meet my friends and we have a lot of fun.

    AGEROLA - Margherita Naclerio <3

    Questo è il Parco Corona è situato ad Agerola. Mi piace molto questo posto perchè ci passo molto tempo con i miei amici e ho bei ricordi di quando ero piccola. C'è una vista bellissima e molto spazio per passeggiare. C'è anche una parte verde con molti alberi e panchine su cui fare i picnic o per godersi un posto e godersi la natura, è molto tranquillo.

    This is Parco Corona is located in Agerola. I really like this place because I spend a lot of time there with my friends and I have good memories from when I was little. There is a beautiful view and a lot of space to walk around. There is also a green part with many trees and benches on which to have picnics or to sit and enjoy nature, it is a very quiet place.

    Il mio posto preferito nella mia città natale, Agerola, è il Parco Colonia Montana. Mi piace molto perché lì posso passare del tempo con i miei amici o anche da sola. Dal Parco si può vedere un bellissimo panorama sia di giorno che di notte quando si può vedere una grande quantità di stelle brillanti.
    My favorite place in my hometown Agerola is Colonia Montana Park. I like it a lot because there I can spend time with my friends or also by myself. From the Park you can see a beautiful view both day and night when you can see a big amount of shining stars.

    Η Άνω Πόλη είναι η ιστορική παλιά πόλη, γνωστή ως Άνω Πόλη λόγω της θέσης της στην κορυφή του λόφου. Αυτή η ατμοσφαιρική συνοικία χαρακτηρίζεται από τους απότομους, δαιδαλώδεις δρόμους και τους πεζόδρομους. Πολυάριθμες βρύσες της οθωμανικής εποχής αποκαλύπτουν την τουρκική επιρροή της συνοικίας. Η Άνω Πόλη επίσης έχει πολλές εκκλησίες αρκετές από τις οποίες υπάρχουν από τον 5ο και 6ο αιώνα. The Ano Poli is the historic old town, known as the Upper Town because of its hilltop location. This atmospheric quarter is characterized by its steep, winding streets and pedestrian alleyways. Numerous fountains of the Ottoman era reveal the quarter's Turkish influence.Ano Poli also has many churches, several of which date back to the 5th and 6th centuries.

    One of my favorite places in my hometown is the port of Thessaloniki. It is the largest export seaport in my country and the main harbor of Balkans and southeastern Europe. Sometimes I enjoy spending my leisure time there, by hanging out with my friends in cafeterias all around. Moreover in autumn numerous exhibitions and events take part there.
    Ένα από τα αγαπημένα μου μέρη στην Θεσσαλονίκη είναι το λιμάνι της. Αποτελεί το μεγαλύτερο εξαγωγικό λιμάνι στην χώρα, στα Βαλκάνια και στην νοτιοανατολική Ευρώπη. Πολλές φορές απολαμβάνω να περνάω τον ελεύθερό μου χρόνο με τους φίλους μου σε διάφορες καφετέριες τριγύρω. Επίσης στο λιμάνι της Θεσσαλονίκης γίνονται διάφορες εκθέσεις και events τους φθινοπωρινούς μήνες.

    The Roman Forum is an ancient forum that was built in the end of the second century after Christ. It was the main reference location of the city and it was also a command center as it is above of the court square.

    Μy favorite place in Thessaloniki. Aristotelous Square is one of the central squares of the town. It was built in 1950 and it is a popular spot for tourists and locals.

    Valentina Cimmino -Casola di Napoli

    Casola is a small town located in the province of Napoli.
    For me, the most beatiful place in Casola is Iozzino Square.
    The Square was named after Raffaele Iozzino, a víctime in the massacre of Fani street on the 16th of March in 1978.
    In this square, there are benches and lots of green spaces. It is a great place for young and old people to meet and hangs out with friends.

    Casola è una piccola città situata in provincia di Napoli.
    Per me, il posto più bello di Casola è la Piazza Iozzino.
    La piazza fu chiamata così in onore di Raffaele Iozzino, vittima della tragedia di Via Fani il 16 marzo del 1978.
    In questa piazza ci sono panchine e molti spazi verdi, è un ottimo posto per giovani e persone anziane per incontrare e trattenersi con gli amici.

    Edessa is a fantastic location to visit. To explore the wonderful waterfalls and take pictures in the enchanting landspaces. Η Έδεσσα είναι μια φανταστική τοποθεσία που μπορείς να επισκευθείς. Να εξερευνήσεις τους υπέροχους καταράχτες και να βγάλεις φωτογραφίες στα μαγευτικά τοπία.

    One of my favorites places for holidays is halkidiki, which is i is a region in northern Greece known for its jutting peninsulas, which feature Mediterranean forests that give way to sandy beaches in sheltered bays. Kassandra, the westernmost peninsula, is the most developed, offering modern resorts and nightclubs. Η Χαλκιδική είναι μια περιοχή στη βόρεια Ελλάδα, γνωστή για τις χερσονήσους της, οι οποίες διαθέτουν μεσογειακά δάση που δίνουν τη θέση τους σε αμμώδεις παραλίες σε απάνεμους κόλπους. Η Κασσάνδρα, η δυτικότερη χερσόνησος, είναι η πιο ανεπτυγμένη, προσφέροντας σύγχρονα θέρετρα και νυχτερινά κέντρα.

    My favourite place in Gragnano is the Valley of the Mills, which is located near Piazza Aubry, I like it because it is a place I have known know since I was a child. I have always gone there and for me, it is very important. The valley of the mills has a huge cave with a tall statue of Our Lady of Lourdes. Here people often go to pray.

    Il mio posto preferito a Gragnano è la Valle dei Mulini, che si trova vicino a Piazza Aubry, mi piace perché è un posto che conosco sin da quando ero bambino. Ci sono sempre andato e per me è molto importante. La valle dei mulini ha un'enorme grotta con un'alta statua della Madonna di Lourdes. Qui la gente va spesso a pregare.

    COLONIA MONTANA PRINCIPE DI NAPOLI-Gregorio Buonocore 2ACL

    Colonia Montana Prince of Naples is an historycal building located in Agerola. It was built from 1937 to 1939, during fascist period. It was a ruin until six years ago, but now it is a beautiful building that looks out the Amalfitan Coast. In this building there is a university to train professionals in the field of enogastronomy and tourism. In this building you can also have cooking classes with the multi stared chef Heinz Beck.
    La Colonia Montana è una struttura storica costruita durante il periodo fascista, precisamente nel 1937. Fino sei anni fa era un rudero ma oggi è una splendida struttura che si affaccia sulla Costiera Amalfitana. In questa struttura c'è un'Università per formare professionisti nel campo dell'enogastronomia e del turismo. Si possono anche fare corsi di cucina privati diretti dallo chef pluristellato Heinz Beck.

Στη Μάνη υπάρχουν πολλοί πέτρινοι πύργοι, 7 κάστρα, πληθώρα αρχαιολογικών χώρων, βυζαντινές και μεταβυζαντινές εκκλησίες με εξαίρετες αγιογραφίες. Στην περιοχή βρίσκονται οι 98 από τους 118 οικισμούς της Πελοποννήσου που έχουν χαρακτηριστεί επίσημα παραδοσιακοί.

    Vico Equense is my favourite place, it's a little city on an amazing sea coast. During Summer I spent a big part of my days here with
    all my friends.
    In these days we swam , played cards,
    sunbathed , Took some photos , played
    some jokes , told some gags and so
    many other things.Despite Summer has
    just finished I miss so much these moments so
    I hope to relive them very soon.

    I decided to tell about this ancient fountain in Gragnano, that is the first public fountain that you see when you arrive in this town. It has got four lions mouths where the water comes out but they aren’t original because, they were stolen after the 1980 earthquake.
    The square where this fountain is located was used to dry the pasta on particoular rows of wood. Still today many people take water from the fountain.

    In italiano: ho deciso di parlare riguardo questa antica fontana a Gragnano, questa è la prima fontana pubblica che vedi quando arrivi in questa città. Essa ha quattro bocche di leone dove sgorga l’acqua, ma non sono originali perché vennero rubate dopo il terremoto del 1980
    La piazza dove c’è questa fontana era usata per essiccare la pasta in particolari righe (aste) di legno. Ancora molte persone prendono l’acqua dalla fontana

    Ioannina is one of my favorite places in Greece. there you can visit one of the most beautiful museums, the museum of Vrellis and see wax figures.

    Il mio posto preferito è La Costiera Amalfitana,
    dove ho trascorso parte della mia estate con le persone che amo.
    In questo posto si respira positività e mi sono sentita ogni giorno più felice.
    Qui ho visitato posti incantevoli e ho conosciuto persone fantastiche,
    ed abbiamo mangiato nei migliori ristoranti della città.

    My favorite place is the Amalfi Coast,
    where I spent part of my summer with the people I love.
    In this place you can breathe positivity in the air and I was happier and happier I have visited enchanting places and met fantastic people.

    Αρεμπού/Arempou

    Η Αρεμπού είναι το αγαπημένο μου μέρος στην πόλη μου! Σίγουρα δεν είναι ιδιαίτερα γνωστό μέρος, αλλά αυτός είναι ένας από τους λόγους που μου αρέσει. Είναι ένα μέρος μέσα στην φύση όπου μπορείς να ‘’ηρεμήσεις’’ από τους θορυβώδεις ανθρώπους. Επίσης εκεί έχω πολλές αναμνήσεις. Με τους φίλους μου έχουμε κάνει αρκετές φορές πικνικ και με την οικογένειά μου, ειδικά στην καραντίνα, πηγαίναμε για να περπατήσουμε και να μαζέψουμε μανιτάρια και βατόμουρα.
    Arempou is my favorite place in my hometown! It is definitely not a well-known place, but that’s one of the reasons why I like it so much. It’s a place for nature lovers where you can ‘’relax’’ from noisy people. Moreover, this place holds a lot of memories. Me and my friends have done plenty of picnics there and also with my family, especially during quarantines, we went for walks and to pick mushrooms and blackberries.

    The White Tower is one of the most interesting and popular sights in Thessaloniki! The view from the top of the tower to the sea is magnificent!

    Paxoi - Antipaxoi

    Paxoi is a small island in Ionio Pelagos, Greece. It is rather small but are is filled to the brim with tourists, most noteably from Italy. In Paxoi there aren't many activities on land but under the surface of water. From the picture bellow you can see that the waters there are crystal clear so it makes perfect sense that people love picking up a mask and diving underground, either in the beaches or the rocky caves of Paxoi.
    Οι Παξοί είναι ένα μικρό νησή στο Ιόνιο πέλαγος. Είναι σχετικά μικρό αλλά γεμάτο με τουρίστες, κυρίως από την Ιταλία. Στο νησί δεν υπάρχουν πολλές δραστηριότητες στην στεριά αλλά κάτω από την επιφάνεια της θάλασσας. Από την φωτογραφία μπορούμε να δούμε πως τα νερά είναι πεντακάθαρα άρα είναι λογικό όλοι να λατρεύουν το να παίρνουν την μάσκα τους και να βουτάνε στις παραλίες και πέτρινες σπηλιές των Παξών! - Stelios Chymas

    One of my favorite places is Athytos in Chalkidiki. Athytos is a wonderful place to spend your summer. This village combines tradition and modern life , with its picturesque streets and houses , but the vivid night as well..The view from the highest point of the village is amazing and you can't leave without tasting the wonderful traditional food at the restaurants.Athytos is a place you definitely need to visit in Greece!
    'Eνα από τα αγαπημένα μου μέρη είναι η 'Αθυτος στην Χαλκιδική .Η 'Αθυτος είναι ένα φανταστικό μέρος για να περάσεις το καλοκαίρι σου .Το χωριό αυτό , συνδυάζει την παραδοσιακή και μοντέρνα ζωή με τα χαρακτηριστικά μονοπάτια και τα σπίτια, αλλά και την νυχτερινή ζωή.. Η θέα είναι υπέροχη και δεν μπορείς να φύγεις χωρίς να δοκιμάσεις τα παραδοσιακά φαγητά .Η 'Αθυτος είναι ένα μέρος που σίγουρα πρέπει να επισκεφτείς!

    Il posto che mi piace di più nella mia città natale è il Castello di Pino.
    Si tratta di una fortificazione nata come presidio militare di difesa del Ducato di Amalfi attorno all'anno mille che domina la vallata da un piccolo promontorio. Questo posto mi attrae perché è un luogo ricco di storia, immerso nella natura e perché offre una vista unica sul Golfo di Napoli.

    The place I like the most in my hometown is Castello di Pino.
    It is a fortification born as a military garrison for the defense of the Duchy of Amalfi around the year one thousand that dominates the valley from a small promontory. This place attracts me because it is a place rich in history, surrounded by nature and because it offers a unique view of the Gulf of Naples.

    My favourite place is "Villaggio San Francesco" in Acerno.
    I spent two summer camps in this wonderful place with my closest friends and experienced unique emotions there . Thanks to it, I made great new friends, and did interesting activities together.

    Valle dei Mulini - Gragnano

    The place I like most in my hometown is the Valley of the Mills, a valley of the Lattari mountains where for about six hundred years there were many mills that produced flour and pasta. In this place there is a lot of vegetation and there is an old mill that represents the history of Gragnano. I like this place because it is suitable for relaxing walks.

    Il posto che mi piace di più nella mia città è la Valle dei Mulini, una valle dei Monti Lattari, dove per circa seicento anni sono stati attivi molti mulini che producevano farina e pasta.
    In questo posto c’è tanta vegetazione e c’è un vecchio mulino che rappresenta la storia di Gragnano.
    Mi piace questo posto perché è adatto per fare passeggiate rilassanti.

    I live in Casola di Napoli. One of my favourite places is Piazza Crocifisso which is the main square of the town. We young people meet here to spend time together . During special time feasts and festivals such as Carnival, Christmas and the feast of the Saint Patron of the town; they prepare a stage in the square where the dancers of the local dancing school perform ballets. Io abito a Casola di Napoli. Uno dei posti preferiti è Piazza Crocifisso che è la piazza principale del paese. Noi giovani ci incontriamo qui per passare del tempo insieme. Durante le festività come ad esempio Carnevale, Natale e la festa patronale del paese, in questa piazza preparano un palco dove ragazzi che frequentano la scuola locale di danza si esibiscono in balletti.

    Η Μονεμβάσια είναι μια μικρή ιστορική πόλη της ανατολικής Πελοποννήσου, της επαρχίας Επιδαύρου Λιμηράς, στο Νομό Λακωνίας. Είναι περισσότερο γνωστή από το μεσαιωνικό φρούριο, επί του ομώνυμου "Βράχου της Μονεμβασίας", που αποτελεί στην κυριολεξία μικρή νησίδα που συνδέεται με γέφυρα σε σχηματιζόμενο λαιμό συνολικού μήκους 400 μέτρων με τη σημερινή παράλια κατ΄ έναντι πόλη επί της λακωνικής ακτής. Από γεωφυσικής απόψεως αποτελεί ένα τόμπολο (tombolo).

    The Monemvasia is a small historic town of eastern Peloponnese, Epidaurus Limiras province , in the Prefecture of Laconia. It is better known than the medieval fortress, on the homonymous "Rock of Monemvasia", which is literally a small island connected by a bridge in a formed neck of a total length of 400 meters with the current coast opposite the city on the Laconian coast. From a geophysical point of view it is a tombolo.

Βρίσκεται στο Νομό Ιωαννίνων, στην ορεινή αυτή κωμόπολη που μετρά πάνω από 3 χιλιάδες κατοίκους και υψόμετρο 1.160 μέτρα στις πλαγιές της Πίνδου. Χαρακτηριστικό παράδειγμα του τόπου είναι και οι ενδυματολογικές επιλογές κάποιων μεγαλύτερων κατοίκων του, οι οποίοι φορούν τις παραδοσιακές τους ενδυμασίες και μιλούν τη βλάχικη.

    Pindos, tradition, nature, altitude, natural beauties, rare flora and fauna… Metsovo guarantees you all this and more. It is located in the Prefecture of Ioannina, in this mountainous town that has over 3 thousand inhabitants and an altitude of 1,160 meters on the slopes of Pindos. A typical example of the place is the clothing choices of some of its larger inhabitants, who wear their traditional costumes and speak Vlach.

    Ένα σύµπλεγµα από τεράστιους σκοτεινόχρωµους βράχους από ψαµµίτη, που υψώνονται πάνω από την Καλαµπάκα, είναι ένα θέαµα που δεν συναντά κανείς συχνά και σίγουρα µια επίσκεψη στα Μετέωρα δεν µπορεί να λείπει από το… παλµαρέ των εµπειριών σας. Αυτό το µεγαλούργηµα της φύσης και του ανθρώπου, µε τα 24 µοναστήρια σκαρφαλωµένα στα βράχια, αποτελεί κορυφαίο µνηµείο της Ορθοδοξίας. Η ιστορία των µοναστηριών µετρά περίπου 6 αιώνες, ενώ σήµερα µόνο 6 από αυτά βρίσκονται σε λειτουργία. Φυσικά, δεν θα προλάβετε να τα επισκεφθείτε όλα, για αυτό κάντε µια στάση στον Άγιο Νικόλαο τον Αναπαυσά, τη Μονή Βαρλαάµ (αντρικές) και τη Μονή Αγίου Στεφάνου (γυναικεία), για να θαυµάσετε σπάνια έργα µικροτεχνίας, όπως το ξυλόγλυπτο τέµπλο στο καθολικό της τελευταίας, σταυρούς µε Τίµιο Ξύλο, σπάνια χειρόγραφα – και όχι µόνο.     Η αγαπημένη μου περιοχή στην χώρα μου είναι μια παραλία στο βόρειο άκρο του νησιού Κεφαλονιά που ονομάζεται παραλία του Μύρτου. Λατρεύω αυτή την παραλία με τα καταγάλανα νερά της. Επίσης έχει βραβευτεί 11 φορές ως η καλύτερη παραλία της Ελλάδας λόγω της καθαρότητάς της και της φύσικης της ομορφιάς και . Τέλος είναι μια οργανωμένη παραλία γι' αυτό και γίνονται διάφορα μουσικά φεστιβάλ. My favorite site in my country is a beach in the north point of the island Kefalonia and it's called Myrto's beach. I adore this beach because of it's crystal-blue water. Also it has been awarded as the best beach in Greece 11 times for its cleanness and the natural beauty..     Galatista-Greece

    One of my most favourite places in Greece is Galatista. Galatista is a small, beautiful village of my country located in the mountains of Halkidiki. It's not so well known and that makes it peaceful and safe. Galatista's unique feature is the Byzantine Tower where it is said that the Queen lived in. There is even a legend around her which says that, after her death by the pirates, her name-Galatia-was given to the village.

    Tokat-Clock Tower

    Clock tower located in the central district of Tokat province II. It is the tower that was built in 1902 to commemorate the 25th anniversary of Abdülhamid's accession to the throne. The tower is exactly 33 meters, and the tower, which shines brightly at night, has an attractive beauty.

    Erzurum

    Erzurum is my hometown. There are many kinds of food in Erzurum. But my favourite is Cağ Kebap. In Erzurum there is Palandöken Mountain. You can play with snow or you can stay as long as you want. There is Erzurum castles too. It dates back to Urart, where Erzurum Castle was close to 2 dominions for about 500 years. If you like natural things, Tortum Waterfall is for you. It has a width of 21 meters and a height of 48 meters. That is not the end. There is Tortum lake. Tortum Lake is located on the Erzurum-Artvin road, 35 kilometers north of the Tortum District. . There are many other places to visit in Erzurum too!

    Bolu is one of my favorite cities! I love the silence and nature of Bolu, it is a perfect place for a holiday. At the same time, there are many beautiful places for skiing.     Bursa

    Bursa is the city of Turkey and has a lot of touristic places here. Most of these touristic places were built Ottoman period. These historical places are like mosques, madrasas and museums. My favorite place is Bursa Archeology Museum because I love reviewing old items. If you like naturel places you can go to Uludağ Milli Park or Küreklidere Waterfall. Also there is a Uludağ Mountin in Bursa. You can ski and play with snow here. The traditionel dishes of Bursa are Iskender and Kemal Paşa dessert. If you go here you should try it.

    TURKIYE-ANKARA

    My hometown Ankara is one of the most beautiful places in Turkey! It has wonderful places such as Ankara Castle, Temple of Augustus, Mogan Park. The most important of these is definitely ANITKABIR. Also, Turkey's great national assembly was opened here in 1920. Then, in 1923, Ankara was declared the capital of Turkey. This is my hometown!





    Memleketim Ankara Türkiye'nin en önemli ve güzel yerlerinden! Sanatsal, kültürel bir sürü alanı olan Ankara kesinlikle harika bir yer. Ayrıca TBMM 1920'de Ankara da açılmış ve 1923'de başkent ilan edilmiştir. Türkiye'nin en önemli yeri olan Anıtkabir buradadır!

    GERMANY - Lohne

    Lohne is my favorite place in Germany. I don't know why, maybe the reason is beacuse I was born there. Lohne is a small city but I think its one of the beautiful city in Germany. Its not a famus place or a touristic place. There are a lot of trees around hauses. The trees are my favorite property of Lohne. The streets was amazing. When I walked there I felt so good. And there are many restaurant in Lohne. I love Lohne so much.

    My hometown is Cardaklı Village in Ordu, its very beautiful place there is so many animal like cows, chıickens,foxs (I never seeen them before but my grandma's friend told me that there were so many foxs), wild boars and squirrels. My grandma's friend (Idk maybe they are cousins) has cows and they are so cute but they smell really bad and she has also chickens and a black rooster.Black rooster attacked us it was terıbble memory but when I remember now I am laughing, because its so funny. Cardaklı Village is on a high place and unfrequented so there is no place to visit. Everywhere is covered with trees. When we are going our village we are going to picnic in the forest with my family,that place is peaceful there are so much flowers,bees.Thats all,this is my hometown.

    Yalova is one of the many mesmerizing places in Turkey! It's a small city with a big history. Yalova is a seaside city! You can swim in the sea at summer and play with the snow in the winter(it rarely snows in Istanbul). There are lots of cafes that you can enjoy the sunset listening to peaceful waves and drinking you coffee/tea or sitting under a plane tree daydreaming while a soft freshing wind touches your skin.Theese are just few of the reasons that i like Yalova :𝘿 .

    Benim memleketim İstanbul. İstanbul türkiye'nin en kalabalık şehri.İstanbul çok kültürel bi şehir. İstanbulun meşhur yemeklerinden olan Ortaköy kumpiri,Ortaköyde yenmelidir. İstanbula gelindiğinde kesinlikle Ayasofya Cami, Topkapı sarayı,Kız kulesi ve Dolmabahçe sarayı gezilmeli.
    My hometown is Istanbul. Istanbul is the most populous city of Turkey. Istanbul is a very cultural city. Ortaköy Kumpir, one of the famous dishes of Istanbul, should be eaten in Ortaköy. When you come to Istanbul, you should definitely visit Hagia Sophia Mosque, Topkapı Palace, Maiden's Tower and Dolmabahçe Palace.

    İstanbul is a beautiful place even though its the most crowded city in Turkey. There are many places you can visit such as Hagia Sophia Mosque, Topkapı Palace, Blue Mosque, Grand Bazaar, Galata Tower and much more. If you want to try traditional foods there are many restaurants serving Turkish dishes which you can go to. If you decide to come to Turkey make sure you visit my home town :)

    Cappadocia is the most beautiful and touristic region in Turkey is my hometown. Cappadocia is the region formed after millions of years rain and wind erosions to the layers of eruptions of volcanic mountains which took place 60 million years ago. The main income of Cappadocia is tourism. Specially Ihlara Valley, Derinkuyu Underground City, UNESCO listed Göreme open air museum are places needed to be seen. The most famous local dishes are Pottery Kebab, Stuffed Quince, Dry Cream.

    Türkiye'nin en güzel ve turistik bölgesi olan Kapadokya benim memleketimdir. Kapadokya, 60 milyon yıl önce yanardağın patlaması sonucu oluşan katmanların milyonlarca yıl yağmur ve rüzgar tarafından aşındırılmasıyla ortaya çıkan bölgedir. Kapadokya'nın başlıca gelir kaynağı turizmdir. Özellikle Ihlara Vadisi, Derinkuyu Yeraltı Şehri, UNESCO listesinde plan Göreme açık hava müzesi görülmesi gereken yerlerdir. Nevşehir'e özgü yiyecekler arasında Testi Kebabı, Ayva Dolması, Kuru Kaymak bulunur.

    Well even someone choosed Bursa I cant really pick another one since both of my parents are from Bursa. Anyways Bursa is a really great tourist attraction, for really It has alot of touristic places and almost all of my family :D. Well in Bursa theres alot of places that you can go and I recommend you to go to places like Yeşil Cami or Koza Han

    Yani birisi Bursa'yı seçse bile benim başka seçecek bir yerim yok çünkü annem ve babamda Bursa'da doğdu. Neyse Bursa çok güzel bir turist atraksiyonudur ve çok fazla turistik yerleri vardır ve ailemin çoğu ordadır :D. Neyse Bursa'da gidebileceğiniz çok fazla yer vardır; Yeşil Cami, Koza Han gibi yerlere gitmenizi öneririm.

    Azerbaijan-Baku

    My hometown is Baku, the capital of Azerbaijan. It is the most beautiful city I have seen in my life there are so many amazing places to see, so many museums to visit.
    Baku has wildly varying architecture, ranging from the Old cıty, the historical center of Baku, to modern buildings and the spacious layout of the city.

    My favorite place in Baku is the uphill park. The view there is astounding. You can see Caspian see and all city clearly.

    Netherlands - Alkmaar

    Grote of Sint-Laurenskerk is my fav place in Netherlands. The church was built between 1449 and 1525. In 1621 a wooden spire was added to the tower, designed by Hendrick de Keyser. If you go to the Netherlands, it is one of the places you should definitely go I think, it has great history. It’s really nice place. I think it’s a great place to unwind and RELAX!! Alkmaar makes me happy. Also, people are very kind to each other.

Hollanda'ya giderseniz kesinlikle gitmeniz gereken yerlerden biri bence, keskin bir tarihi var. Gerçekten güzel bir yer. Gevşemek ve rahatlamak için harika bir yer olduğunu düşünüyorum! Alkmaar beni mutlu ediyor. Ayrıca insanlar birbirine çok iyi davranıyor. Gerçekten güzel bir yer!!

    Prikazat ću meni najdraži dio grada. To je naš park Mlaka, toliko raskošan da bi mogao primiti cijelo susjedstvo. Cijelo moje djetinjstvo provela sam u njemu.
    Visoki uspravni hrastovi podsjećaju nas na divove iz basni i bajki. U malo dubljoj šumi katkad izviri trava, nekoliko dudova te divlji bršljan koji se penje po zidovima kao i putokazna mahovina.


    I will try to show you my favorite part of town. It was our Mlaka Park, so lavish that it could accommodate the entire neighborhood. I spent my whole childhood in it.
    His fairytale has expanded the imagination of all children and thus made the play in the park much more exciting. Fairy dust rarely occurs in it, but in the magical forest, there are singing crows, butterflies flying, bees buzzing, reptiles crawling and all the other forest friends having fun.

    Rijeka Trsat castle

    Trsat castle is located on the highest hill above city Rijeka. It's history goes back in 8th centuary, it was built by Romans as a fortress. It offers magnificent view on the Rijeka city, Kvarner bay and Učka mountain. During Christmas it is decorated by thousands of lights. Trsatska gradina se nalazi na najvišem vrhu iznad grada Rijeke. Izgrađena je u 8. stoljeću od strane Rimljana kao tvrđava. Na vrhu se vidi prekrasan pogled na grad Rijeku, Kvarnerski zaljev i planinu Učku. Kada je Božić ukrašena je sa tisućama lampica

    The Prado Museum is my favorite place in Madrid, because it is the most representative collection of art .My favorite painting is “The garden of earthly delights”.
    Firstly it was going to be the Natural Sciences Museum. But then it was changed to one of the most famous galleries of art.
    It has exclusive collections and pieces of art. Do you know it has the biggest collection of paintings of “El Bosco”?
    El museo del Prado es uno de mis sitios favoritos en Madrid , porque tiene la colección más representativa de arte. Mi cuadro favorito es “El jardín de las delicias”.
    Primero iba a ser el museo de ciencias naturales. Pero después ha llegado a ser una de las más famosas galerías de arte.
    Tiene colecciones y piezas exclusivas de arte. ¿Sabías que tiene una de las mayores colecciones de pinturas del Bosco?

    RETIRO PARK - Marta Muñoz

    It is like a very big garden where you can: take a boat that sails around the lake, visit some historical sculptures, take a look to the “Cristal Palace” and, of course, hang out with your family or friends, having something to eat or drink.
    This park is one of my favourite places to stay in Madrid in my free time and
    I think that if you go to Madrid you should visit it.

    Es como un jardín muy grande donde puedes: coger una barca que navega alrededor del lago, visitar algunas esculturas históricas, ver el “Palacio de Cristal” y, por supuesto, dar una vuelta con tu familia o amigos, tomando algo de comer o de beber.
    Este parque es uno de mis sitios favoritos en Madrid para pasar mi tiempo libre, y pienso que si vais a Madrid deberíais visitarlo.

    GRAN VÍA - LUCÍA IZQUIERDO

    Here you can find a lot of shops, cinemas and theatres. Im sure you know “The Lion King” well at the Lope de Vega theatre you can watch the musical. (In case you didn´t know, Lope de Vega was one of the most famous writers in Spanish literature ). Personally I really like this part of Madrid because you will never get bored. If you have the opportunity to take a walk in this street take advantage, im sure you won´t regret.

    Aquí podrás encontrar un montón de tiendas, cines y teatros. Seguro que conoces el “Rey León” pues en el Teatro Lope de Vega podrás ver este musical. (Lope de Vega es uno de los escritores más importantes de la literatura española). Personalmente me gusta mucho esta zona de Madrid ya que nunca te aburrirás. Si tienes la oportunidad de darte un paseo por esta calle aprovecha, no te arrepentirás.

    EL CAPRICHO - Lucía Villarroel

    There are loads of beautiful places I really like in Madrid, but if I had to choose one, it would probably be ‘El Capricho’ park. It’s always a beautiful place to visit, but specially in spring, when the park is full of flowers and colours. It’s considered a historical park due to its small Greek temples, the fountains, and ‘The witches house’. If you ever come to Madrid, It’s definitely worthy to visit.
    Hay muchos lugares que me gustan de Madrid, pero si tuviera que elegir uno, probablemente sería el parque ‘El Capricho’. Siempre es un lugar muy bonito para visitar, pero especialmente en primavera, cuando todo está lleno de flores y colores. Se le considera un parque histórico, ya que cuenta con templetes griegos, fuentes y “La casa de las brujas”. Si vienes a Madrid, merece la pena visitarlo

    My favourite place in Madrid is Plaza de Oriente. I love it because it is a square with gardens and statues. It also it has views to the Royal Palace of Madrid and to the Royal Theater, which are two of the most important buildings in Madrid.     Mi lugar favorito de Madrid es la Plaza de Oriente. Me gusta porque es una plaza con jardines y estatuas. También tiene vistas al Palacio Real de Madrid y al Teatro Real, que son dos de los edificios más importantes de Madrid. En el centro de la plaza hay una fuente con una estatua del rey Felipe IV.

    SOL Rebeca Feito

    Sol is a square situated in the centre of Madrid. It is a very lively place, specially at Christmas as there are many lights and a big tree. There are many shops, cafes and restaurants, rooftops and there is also the town hall of the city. It is one of the most popular squares in Madrid and one of my favourite places.
    Sol es una plaza situada en el centro de Madrid. Es un lugar muy animado, sobretodo en Navidad porque montan luces y un enorme árbol. Allí hay muchas tiendas, cafeterías, restaurantes, azoteas y además allí se encuentra el ayuntamiento de la ciudad. Es una de las plazas más famosas de Madrid y uno de mis lugares favoritos.

    Plaza Mayor Madrid - Irene Peña

    Plaza Mayor has always been my favourite place in Madrid. It is a large square where you can walk through and has lots of restaurants where you can try the typical Spanish food. It is an historical place in Madrid and I really recommend going on one of the amount of guided tours which commonly start from here.

    La Plaza Mayor siempre ha sido mi lugar favorito de Madrid. Es una gran plaza por donde puedes pasear y tiene muchos restaurantes en los que puedes probar la comida típica española. Es un sitio histórico de Madrid y recomiendo mucho ir a una de las muchas visitas guiadas por la ciudad, que normalmente parten de aquí.

    Palacio de cristal del Retiro - Nuria de Faragó

    The Crystal Palace is in Retiro park right after a little pond. It is mostly made out of glass and it regularly houses different art exhibits that vary throughout the year. It is my favourite place in Madrid because not only is it beautiful and interesting to see the exhibits, but also because it is a place that I have been going to since I was little.

    El Palacio de Cristal es un sitio en el parque del Retiro que está justo detrás de un pequeño lago. Está hecho mayoritariamente de cristal y en el se hacen regularmente exposiciones de arte que van cambiando a lo largo del año. Es mi sitio favorito de Madrid porque no es solamente precioso e interesante ver las exposiciones sino que además es un sitio al que llevo yendo desde pequeña

    THE ROYAL BOTANICAL GARDEN- Irene Cermeño

    The purpose of this garden is to conserve plant species. Its location was not by chance. It was created in 1755 by the king Fernando 7th; later it was personalized by Carlos 3rd, a lover of science. It´s located next to the Prado Museum. The time of the year when I would recommend you to visit it is Christmas as you´ll find the gardens decorated with lights. It transmits a fantastic style, a visit that´ll never disappoint you.

    El objetivo de este jardín es conservar diferentes plantas. No es casualidad donde se encuentra. Lo creó Fernando VII en 1755 y más tarde fue personalizado por Carlos III, un amante de la ciencia. Se encuentra cerca del Museo del Prado. La época del año en la que os recomendaría visitarlo es Navidad ya que los jardines se decoran con luces. Te transmite un estilo fantástico, una visita que nunca te defraudará.

    THE TIERNO GALVAL PARK- Alejandra de Evan

    If I had to choose my favourite place in Madrid, I think I’d choose this place in the Tierno Galván Park, because it’s a high place and the sunset looks very good from there on the afternoon. I go there with my friends always I can, it’s beautiful and peaceful because not many people go by there.

    Si tuviera que elegir mi lugar favorito en Madrid, creo que escogería este sitio del Parque Tierno Galván porque está bastante alto y eso hace que se vea el atardecer muy bien todas las tardes. Voy allí siempre que puedo con mis amigos, es precioso y tranquilo porque no mucha gente pasa por allí.

    El Retiro Ana Renedo

    No podría elegir un lugar favorito en Madrid porque hay muchos, pero sin duda El Retiro es uno de mis favoritos por las cosas que puedes visitar.

    Hay muchas esculturas de personas importantes y algunos edificios como el de la foto. También hay mucha variedad de árboles y flores. Y la gente también va allí a pasear porque es un lugar muy tranquilo.



    I couldn’t choose a favourite place in Madrid as there are lots of them, but The Retiro Park is one of my favourite ones because of the things you can visit there.

    There are many sculptures of important people and some buildings like the one in the photo. There are also many types of trees and flowers. People also go there for a walk because it’s a peaceful place.

    Puerta del Sol- Marina Gener

    One of the most emblematic places in Madrid is Puerta del Sol, a very popular place both by day and night, mostly at Christmas time, because it is very decorated with a great tree of lights. On New Year’s Eve is where the twelve strokes take place, with a lot of people waiting anxiously to the beginning of a new year.Uno de los lugares más emblemáticos de Madrid, es La Puerta del Sol, un lugar muy transitado, tanto por el día como por la noche, sobre todo en estas épocas navideñas, porque está muy decorado con un gran árbol de luces. En nochevieja es el lugar donde se dan las campanadas, con la gente esperando ansiosamente a que empiece el año nuevo.

    Palacio Real - Alejandra Castillo

    Madrid es una de mis ciudades favoritas , me ha costado elegir un sitio en concreto pero creo que el palacio real es uno de mis sitios preferidos de todo Madrid.
    La zona del palacio es muy extensa , justo enfrente hay una plaza llamada "Plaza de Oriente" en la cual hay colocadas estatuas de distintos personajes históricos. El palacio real es uno de los edificios más grandes de Madrid.

    Madrid is one of my favourite cities so I found it difficult to choose a specific place but I think the Royal Palace is one of my favourites. The palace area is very extensive , there is a square just opposite called "Oriente square" in which statues of various historical figures are placed. Royal Palace is one of the biggest buildings in Madrid.

    La fuente de la Cibeles - Diego Álvarez

    This is the Cibeles fountain, a fountain in one of the most famous squares in Madrid. It was founded in 1782 and it is one of the best monuments in Madrid. I like to visit this place because the Real Madrid team and all their fans meet there to celebrate the victories of the team. I think that if you are in Madrid this is a monument that you must visit.



    Esta es la fuente de la Cibeles, una fuente en una de las plazas mas famosas de Madrid. Fue fundada en 1782 y es uno de los mejores monumentos de todo Madrid A mí me gusta visitar este lugar porque en él el equipo Real Madrid y todos sus aficionados se reunen para celebrar las victorias del equipo. Creo que si pasáis por Madrid este es un monumento que obligatoriamente debéis visitar.

    CIBELES- Luis Díez

    My favourite place in Madrid is Cibeles Fountain, which is a monument located in a square between “Puerta de Alcalá” and “Neptuno Square”. It was desgined by the famous architect Ventura Rodríguez and built by two famous sculptors. The statue represents the God mother Cibeles on a carriage carried by lions. I like this place because it is where Real Madrid team goes to celebrate when they win an important competition.
    Mi lugar favorito de Madrid es la Fuente de Cibeles, un monumento localizado en una plaza entre la Puerta de Alcalá y la Plaza de Neptuno. La diseñó el importante arquitecto Ventura Rodríguez y fue construida por dos escultores famosos. Representa a la diosa Cibeles en un carro tirado por dos leones. Me gusta este lugar porque es donde el Real Madrid celebra cualquier competición importante que gana.

    My favourite place in Madrid is La Fuente de Nepetuno, it’s located in the Plaza Cánovas del Castillo and it's one of the most famous fountains in Madrid. The main figure in the fountain is Neptune, god of the sea. This fountain is very well located, because from this point you can go anywhere in downtown walking. I think it is a beautiful place and if you get the chance you should definitely go!!

    Mi sitio favorito en Madrid es la Fuente de Neptuno, se encuentra en la Plaza Cánovas del Castillo y es una de las fuentes más famosas de Madrid. La figura principal de la fuente es Neptuno, dios del mar. Esta fuente esta muy bien localizada, ya que desde este punto se puede ir a cualquier lugar de Madrid centro andando. Yo creo que es un sitio precioso y si tienes la oportunidad deberías ir sin duda!!

    La Almudena-Daniel Cisneros

    My favourite place in Madrid is The Almudena Cathedral, near the centre of Madrid, the most famous cathedral here. This is because Almudena´s virgin is Madrid’s patroness. This is a Neo-gothic and Neoclassical cathedral which started to be built in 1883, but it wasn´t until 1993 when the Pope Juan Pablo II consecrated it.

    I like visiting this place because my grandmother used to take me there when I was young.

    Mi lugar favorito de Madrid es La Catedral de la Almudena,cerca del centro de Madrid, su catedral más famosa. Esto se debe a que la virgen de la Almudena es la patrona de Madrid. Se trata de una catedral neogótica y neoclásica que se empezó a construir en 1883, pero no fue hasta 1993 que el Papa Juan Pablo II la consagró.

    Me gusta visitar este sitio porque mi abuela me llevaba allí cuando era pequeño.

    Molo Longo, Rijeka, Croatia

    Molo Longo is a popular place for walking or running in Rijeka. It is 1707 meters long. It was originally built for the gouverment to watch for the boats that were crossing the border. It was, and still is, a port for fishing boats, but then, for the gouverments boats. Molo Longo is fantastic for hanging around with your friends when you go to the center of the city. You can also climb the wall, but only if you are very carefull.

    Opatija, Croatia

    Opatija is a small town of only 11,000 inhabitants, but that does not stop it from being a real tourist fairy tale. Since the 19th century, it has been the main summer resort for wealthy citizens who built private villas there. Even today, Opatija is one of the most visited cities in Croatia.
    Opatija je mali grad od samo 11.000 stanovnika, no to ga ne spriječava da bude prava turistička bajka. Već od 19. stoljeća glavno je ljetovalište bogatih građana koji su ondje gradili privatne vile. Još i danas Opatija je jedan od najposjećenijih gradova u Hrvatskoj.
