Hi, I'm Carmela Marilina Vitelli. I teach English in a secondary school. My students are 11-13. My school is in Chieti, a small and quiete town in the centre of Italy, about 200 kms from Rome. I Love travelling and I used to travel with my students every year in July, at the end of the school year here in Italy. We used to spend a week in England or English speaking countries but, unfortunately, it isn't possible now, as we all know. Etwinning helps my pupils and I to “travel” even if not by plane but only with our fantasy. Anyway, there's a whole world outside there and I'd like to keep in touch with it. Covid 19 won't stop me from teaching my students how important it is to open their mind to other different cultures.

    Esra Toprak/ Yenidoğan İlkokulu/ Turkey

I have been teaching English for 14 years. For the last 5 years I have been working at a primary school. I was working with language classes at high schools before my primary school adventure:) If I would tell you about my life with a few words I would say my family, my job and the nature! I am married with two sons (aged 7 and 9). I and my family love being in the nature and learning about it. So two years ago we got a van, and started to live our dream. If the life is a school itself, why shall we sit and wait for the lessons come? I love working on projects and improving myself. I believe that only a 'learning teacher' can teach his students! So I am on the way!

Angela La Rovere -Vicentini Della Porta

Hello! I'm Angela La Rovere and I'm an Italian middle school teacher. I teach English to students from 11 to 13 years old. It's my second year in this Comprehensive so I'm still getting used to my colleagues and the new environment which is rich of opportunity to face different experiences such the Etwinning one. It's a big deal to manage all the tasks that a teacher is being asked to fullfill everyday but this is what makes us skilled therefore I am glad to be part of the group and so are my students. Chieti is a small town in the centre of Italy but through the Internet we cut the distance and meet teachers and students from far away. That's what makes the etwinning project really enjoable.
