Miguel de Cervantes noticed monsters for different reasons. On the one hand, the chivalric romances that he parodied were full of these beings, so it was necessary to incorporate them into his text. In the process, Cervantes altered the chivalric narrative's way of dealing with these monsters.
However, instead of letting them "play their own way" as was the case at the time, Miguel de Cervantes resorted to them "to investigate the possibilities of fiction", which brought his work to modernity.
According to the opinion of different experts, Cervantes was a human being tormented by a multitude of monsters. From poverty, lack of training, justice, marital unhappiness, physical deformity, captivity, professional frustration, bitterness... So "The Monsters" persecuted Cervantes throughout his life.

-The name of the represented monster.

-A drawing by Salvalor Dalí as the background of the poster.
