10/2021 School, Classroom

  • October tasks will focus on school vocabulary. This activity is coordinated by Tea.

    Here is the suggested plan of the activities with our students:

    Let's record a collaborative video where each partner chooses 3 items to put in the schoolbag. I will start with my students and then, each partner adds 3 more items in the bag. We connect all the videos and have a common video!

    I plan to add Quizlet set of flashcards with my students' drawings of school objects: pencil, notebook, schoolbag etc.

    The first thing I plan is to create printable cards to create a peripheral learning atmosphere by pasting the names of classroom objects on the items such as door, board, desk etc.
    Secondly, i am gonna create a Cram game with the set of school object flashcards. I plan to make my students color the pictures of objects in black and white, so i am gonna able to use them.

    My plan for this content is: 1. Introduce the main vocabulary related to school using flashcards and realia. 2. Game "Match in pairs" using the cards with pictures and cards with words. 3.     I'm going to sing a song 'My Bag", to prepare a game in (learningapps or wordwall) about school items to match the pairs, to play a game "In my Bag" with real items. (Similar to the "I went to the market" game" - This is a memory game where each player has to remember all the listed items from previous players and then add one more.)
    And if some of you want we can play any game during the meeting.
