BREVE DESCRIPCIÓN:

La Agencia Espacial Europea (ESA) ha iniciado una nueva campaña de reclutamiento de personal (astronautas, programadores, analistas, etc) para las nuevas misiones espaciales, en especial para mandar una tripulación a Marte. Esta vez, han abierto las solicitudes a personas que puedan tener alguna discapacidad física compatible con el puesto correspondiente, buscando tripulaciones más inclusivas que den oportunidades a más gente con el lema “Space is for everyone”. En este proyecto, el alumnado agrupado en equipos mixtos va a investigar sobre el planeta Marte desde un contexto multidisciplinar y deberá pasar una serie de pruebas, desde la inclusividad, donde sobre todo se tendrán en cuenta sus aptitudes en cuanto al trabajo en equipo, empatía, resiliencia y asertividad, capacidades fundamentales para vivir en las condiciones extremas de un planeta extraño y cuyo eje conductor será la inclusividad, es decir, que el espacio para tod@s.

OBJETIVOS:

Objetivos generales:
• Competencia lingüística, tanto en lenguas nativas como en extranjeras.
• Competencia digital, base para la realización del proyecto en plataforma TIC.
• Competencia social y ciudadana, para comprender la realidad social.
• Sentido de la iniciativa y espíritu emprendedor.
• Conciencia y expresiones culturales.
• Competencia científica.
• Pensamiento crítico, analizar y evaluar el pensamiento .
• Aprender a aprender.

Objetivos específicos:
- Conocimiento de las características principales de Marte y ESA.
- Contextualización cultural y social del planeta Marte.
- Puesta en práctica de las aptitudes fundamentales del proyecto: trabajo en equipo, cooperación, asertividad, resiliencia, empatía e inteligencia emocional.
- Autoevaluación, co-evaluación y evaluación general del proyecto.
- Conocimiento del aprendizaje inclusivo y asimilación de sus conceptos básicos.

PROCESO DE TRABAJO:

Los alumnos trabajarán en 5 grupos mixtos internacionales (sus nombres serán las letras de M-A-R-T-E) donde realizarán las diferentes investigaciones, actividades y productos finales. Primero se presentarán individualmente (identificándose con algo relativo a Marte o el espacio) y por centros y mostrarán algo sobre su cultura. Crearán y elegirán un logo entre todos y, después, guiados por los docentes, empezarán su investigación y actividades cooperativas sobre las disciplinas múltiples que se trabajarán en el proyecto teniendo como tema central el planeta Marte. Además, reflexionarán sobre su base científica. Después, se centrarán en el tema de la inclusividad, como en la próxima misión de la ESA. En la última parte, tendrán que pasar cada grupo mixto las pruebas sobre asertividad, resiliencia, empatía, inteligencia emocional y trabajo en equipo, aptitudes fundamentales para la futura misión. Estas actividades se realizarán a lo largo del curso escolar y serán evaluadas con rúbricas.

RESULTADOS ESPERADOS:

Se trabajarán distintas disciplinas de forma transversal y por tanto los resultados serán multidisciplinares. Los grupos mixtos se dividirán las partes de cada tema de estudio y realizarán los productos relativos a cada una de ellos (ciencia, historia, literatura, música y cine). Además, deberán adquirir unas competencias digitales propias de un proyecto realizado en plataforma online (siendo usuarios de herramientas como SurveyMonkey, Doodle, Padlet, Genially, Power Point, Paint, etc) y las marcadas en los objetivos. Los productos realizados serán tanto digitales (Padlet, GoogleDrive, edición de textos y vídeos, Revista digitales, etc) como analógicos (ABP). Todas estas actividades serán evaluadas con rúbricas y el proyecto será coevaluado por los alumnos al final del mismo y se tendrá en cuenta la valoración de familias y resto de comunidad educativa.

SHORT DESCRIPTION:

The European Space Agency (ESA) has started a new campaign to recruit personnel (astronauts, programmers, analysts, etc.) for the new space missions, especially to send a crew to Mars. This time, they have opened applications to people who may have a physical disability compatible with the corresponding position, looking for more inclusive crews that give opportunities to more people with the motto "Space is for everyone". In this project, the students grouped in mixed teams will investigate the planet Mars from a multidisciplinary context and will have to pass a series of tests, from inclusivity, where, above all, their skills in terms of teamwork, empathy will be taken into account , resilience and assertiveness, fundamental capacities to live in the extreme conditions of a strange planet and whose main axis will be inclusiveness, that is, that space for everyone.

OBJECTIVES:

General objectives:

Specific objectives:
- Knowledge of the main characteristics of Mars and ESA.
- Cultural and social contextualization of the planet Mars.
- Put into practice the fundamental skills of the project: teamwork, cooperation, assertiveness, resilience, empathy and emotional intelligence.
- Self-evaluation, co-evaluation and general evaluation of the project.
- Knowledge of inclusive learning and assimilation of its basic concepts

WORK PROCESS:

Students will work in 5 international mixed groups (their names will be the letters M-A-R-T-E) where they will carry out the different investigations, activities and final products. First they will present themselves individually (identifying with something relative to Mars or space) and by centers and they will show something about their culture. They will all create and choose a logo and, then, guided by the teachers, they will begin their research and cooperative activities on the multiple disciplines that will be worked on in the project with the planet Mars as the central theme. In addition, they will reflect on its scientific basis. Afterwards, they will focus on the issue of inclusivity, as in the next ESA mission. In the last part, each mixed group will have to pass the tests on assertiveness, resilience, empathy, emotional intelligence and teamwork, fundamental skills for the future mission. These activities will be carried out throughout the school year and will be evaluated with rubrics.

EXPECTED RESULTS:

Different disciplines will be worked on in a transversal way and therefore the results will be multidisciplinary. The mixed groups will divide the parts of each subject of study and will produce the products related to each one of them (science, history, literature, music and cinema). In addition, they must acquire digital skills typical of a project carried out on an online platform (being users of tools such as SurveyMonkey, Doodle, Padlet, Genially, Power Point, Paint, etc.) and those marked in the objectives. The products made will be both digital (Padlet, GoogleDrive, text and video editing, digital magazine, etc.) and analog (ABP). All these activities will be evaluated with rubrics and the project will be co-evaluated by the students at the end of it and the evaluation of families and the rest of the educational community will be taken into account.
