Hello there. I'm Dilek Özgür. I work at Şehit Yılmaz Bozkurt Secondary School in Adana. I am a special education teacher. I have been teaching for 16 years. My students are special children with mild intellectual disabilities. I love my students and my job. We work with our students both academically, socially and athletically. My students and I participated in the TÜBİTAK project. We got both provincial and country scores in athletics and swimming competitions. Thanks to eTwinning work, math games and STEM projects, my students' interest and understanding of the lessons, their imagination, communication and language skills and self-confidence have improved a lot. What I want to do in my projects will be about how I can happily develop my students both academically and socially. As a special education teacher, I want to follow the work done in my field and create projects.
