    Lesson plan Green Children

    Age of learners: 17, Level: pre- intermediate

    Overall objective: Students will  be aware of issues of immigration from different viewpoints, and use English to communicate these issues.

    By using processed drama, students  will cooperate,  will be able to use body language,  and their  imagination.

    Material: The Green Children of Woolpit  (Brian Haughton) NOBODY  KNOWS WHERE THE GREEN CHILDREN CAME FROM. SOME PEASANTS FOUND THEM NEAR THE CAVE NOT FAR FROM THE VILLAGE. THEY WERE SCARED AND SPOKE THE LANGUAGE THAT NO ONE UNDERSTOOD. THE PEASANTS TOOK THEM TO THE VILLAGE. THE CHILDREN REFUSED FOOD AND DAY BY DAY BECAME WEAKER. THE BOY SOON DIED, AND THE GIRL CONSENTED TO EAT AND SHORTLY BEGAN TO LOSE GREEN COLOR. What are your first thoughts?
