    At The School Center for Inclusive Education "Maria Montessori" Constanța,  we believe all children are special, unique and should be valued equally.
    The School Center for Inclusive Education "Maria Montessori" Constanța is a Special Education Needs & Disability institution, which provides educational and therapeutic services to students with special educational needs in the area of Constanța municipality and its surrounding localities.
    The students are at primary and secondary education level, and the education is for the integration to optimal school and socio-professional, according to the principle of equalizing opportunities and education for all and for everyone.
    Through its profile, the school offers, in addition to teaching activities and recovery therapies, various extracurricular activities. The institution is under the coordination of the Ministry of National Education, the Constanta County School Inspectorate and the Constanta County Council and organizes its activity on the basis of the general principles of Romanian and European education.
    The institution was founded in 1975 under the name of the Helping School no. 2 for Recoverable Deficiencies. Since 1981 the school has changed its name to the Helping School no. 2, which in 1998 was renamed the Special School no. 2. Starting with September 2011, the school has been transformed into the "Maria Montessori" School for Inclusive Education.
    In a world of new and changing, the school must promote the inclusion, values and principles of democratic society. Its mission is to guide the young generation towards fulfillment in private and public life.
    There are 20 classes in the school distributed into 2 levels of education: primary education - 8 classes, gymnasium - 12 classes. The educational instructional program is developed according to a curriculum and a program adapted to the degree and type of deficiency for a number of 152 students.
    We have complex and varied material resources: 20 classrooms, 4 modernly equipped speech therapies, a cabinet for specific therapies and compensation, speech therapy, psychodiagnosis, an occupational therapy room, a self-management room, a social assistance office, a documentation and information office, a gym and a physical therapy room, a library with over 8,600 volumes, an AeL laboratory equipped with 20 high performance computers, an ICT laboratory equipped with 10 computers and 3 laptops, a room of sensory stimulation (polysensory education and relaxation), specialized room for recovery therapy for autistic spectrum disorders, play spaces;
    The dominant values are: egalitarianism, cooperation, teamwork, mutual respect, respect for profession, freedom of expression, receptivity to new, creativity, enthusiasm, desire for assertiveness. 
    Our main goal is to guide children towards independence, knowledge and integration. We try to form certain life skills that will allow them to effectively integrate into the community.
    At School Center for Inclusive Education "Maria Montessori" Constanța we value all our students and we work hard to ensure that students with Special Education Needs & Disability have access to the same opportunities as all students.  We provide them with the necessary support and skills to allow them to access the curriculum and develop in confidence and self-esteem.
