FIRST ONLINE MEETING
The first meeting of the project „Digital English“ took place on January 15th 2021. The meeting was held online on the electronic platform ZOOM. The host of the meeting was the partner from Turkey. The meeting was attended by the coordinators from the partner schools in Portugal, Bulgaria, Italy, Romania, Lithuania and Turkey. The application form was revised - planned products, goals, results, international meetings and distribution of tasks between the partners. The first tasks were set for implementation - project teams and criteria for selection of students and teachers. The project was registered in the eTwinning platform for communication and cooperation between students and teachers, as well as project results dissemination. Each one of the partners will present their proposal for the project logo, which will be selected by online voting. It was decided to postpone the Learning/Teaching/Training activities due to the situation with Covid-19.
SECOND ONLINE MEETING
On June 1st 2021, the second online meeting of the partnership took place. The host of the meeting was the partner from Bulgaria. The meeting was attended by 50 students and teachers from the partners' schools. The students presented the subjects they study at school, extracurricular activities in which they participate, sports activities and interests. The teachers presented their schools. The project logo was officially announced. Italy's proposal was chosen as the project's logo. The proposal to apply for an extension of the project deadline was discussed. It was decided to continue the project activities the next school year. The goals of the meeting are related to strengthening intercultural communication, respect and tolerance; promoting cooperation; better communication skills in English; to get to know each other and learn together.
THIRD ONLINE MEETING
On 15th of September 2021, the third online meeting of the partnership was held. The work schedule was updated with new proposals for mobility dates. It has been agreed that it is possible to start the physical mobilities. It was discussed the agenda of the first meeting in Portugal, travel, practical issues, risk management, and accommodation of the groups. The proposal of digital tools in the application has been changed, as these are more student oriented and can be used with their own mobile devices. The focus of the meeting will be on the development of different key competences, aiming at the creation of content with the digital tools. The digital instruments that will be included in the LTT activities during the meeting will be: Kinemaster, Flipaclip, Flipgrid, Powtoon.
