This year, for the first time, our school also joined the Erasmus Days series of events, which aims to present the results of the popular EU program.

In the two-hour program, Attila Gulyás, the person in charge of leading projects in Szignum school, presented the successful Erasmus+ projects of the school, thanks to which more than 170 of our students and teachers could or will participate in international project meetings and teacher trainings in the near future. Afterwards, our seventh- and sixth-graders gave a presentation of the Erasmus+ meeting in Turkey, which ended just a week ago, and then Tímea Kúszné Nagy spoke about her training in Florence. She was followed by teacher Szabina Kádárné Varga, who took a course in Malta in July. The program ended with a report by Attila Gulyás in Finland, who also briefly discussed the peculiarities of the Finnish education system.

We also actively celebrated Erasmus days this school year. As a reminder, Erasmus Days are an annual celebration of the Erasmus + program, the largest program of the European Union for education, training, youth and sports. It takes place from 14 to 16 October 2021 and promotes Erasmus + projects.

And we can boast of the current three projects of which we present here our European Schools for Sustainable Development. The coordinator of the project, teacher Petar Perić, organized the students who marked the Erasmus Days 2021 through various activities. This year's motto was Sustainable development is our lifestyle. Activities included a presentation of the Sustainable Development goals, a Kahoot quiz competition and poster production. An exhibition of student works has been set up in the geography and history classroom. You can see everything in more detail in the photos and in the video.
