Scoala Gimnaziala "Lucian Blaga", Satu Mare

  • On 23.03. 2016 The Teaching Board of our school  had a meeting where the dissemination of the activities from TTALA Portugal were presented .
Our headmaster spoke  about the importance and impact on teachers and students of the Hands in hands project as well as about the importance of knowing other education systems in Europe to implement their positive aspects in the educational process in our school.
The project coordinator, Sorana Bojuc Teodorescu, presented  a PPT material with  the activities carried out in Portugal, the involvement of the Portuguese team in the activities  and the participation and cooperation of the students in these activities. The teachers asked questions to find out more about this meeting.

Carmen and Iulia, the students participating in transnational learning, teaching, training in Portugal presented to their colleagues aspects of their activities. They talked about the new things they learned in the activities, about the Portuguese hosts and their hospitality, about  the pupils from the other countries, about the school visited in Portugal and the attendance at classes.

Creativity represents a miraculous coming together of the uninhibited energy of the child with its apparent opposite and enemy, the sense of order imposed on the disciplined adult intelligence.

Thus,  our school deals, following the principle of social inclusion and integration in the school system of students with special educational needs using modern means to streamline the learning outcomes. Active-participatory methods are frequently used in teaching and the games are successfully used in the process. The teachers in our school are qualified and permanent follow training courses in the field of teaching applying things  they learn during  classes.
The most important thing is that we teachers  understand  is that learning through play is extremely effective for all our students. This concern for the game, is very old. Plato said “Do not keep children to their studies by compulsion but by play.”  so the only thing our  teachers  do  is to update the principles followed by our predecessors.

Our school organized the project launching on 19.10.2016. At this event, the school staff, representatives of the Local Council and the City Hall of Satu Mare, the general inspector and the inspector dealing with projects from the County School Inspectorate, the  local written press and local television, parents, pupils, guests from the schools in the city attended.

The present officials talked about the importance of running this project, its role in the evolution and development of the school as an institution, the professional development of teachers, and the openness that it can produce on a cognitive level to schoolchildren.
The Project Coordinator presented the project's objectives, the way the activities are carried out, the expected results, the impact that the project will have on the involved persons, pupils and adults, local community.
The pupils presented a short play in which they wanted to emphasize the importance of the game in the child’s development.
