Christmas    Eve

The very name suggests that in this day everyone should to indulge in of plenty and saturation to eat. Before dinner, but our ancestors adhere to strict fasting, when throughout the day should eat as little or not at all, and could not eat meat dishes, nor any of the dishes that will be part of dinner. But the generosity during this day does not only with feasting, but also the most popular customs that are presents under the Christmas tree.

The most important Christmas customs

• the scales of a carp, or pile of money - put under the tablecloth on the table and should ensure that money is multiplied during the next year. Many people's scale then gives to the wallet.

• the garlic - a symbol of health and one of the most effective natural medicines should ensure the good health of the whole family,

 

 

 

 

 

• honey - the traditional sweet product should ensure goodness, abundance, and friendliness.
Many families before the Christmas Eve makes honey a cross on the forehead, symbolizing blessing,

• Apples - a bowl of randomly selected one apple that is always after dinner sawed in half crosswise. If the core in the shape of a star, he meant the family happy and healthy, but if the core in the shape of a cross, family traditionally waited illness, or even death. Apple is then cut into many pieces of family members were at the table, which should symbolize the coherence of family,

• Prayer - at least once a year you woul traditionally have to thank you for the food that you and together to pray,

• nuts - during a Christmas dinner on the table can not be missing nuts, which are afterwards thrown in every corner of the tabernacle that was in the house in the same abundance as Christmas Day, and throughout the year,

• One extra plate - another of habits that adheres to many people. According to old habits would be in fact a plate and give the chance visitor. It is a symbol of mercy and solidarity.

• People leave lighted light in all rooms

• Another habit is blowing candles. When the the smoke rising from it at the mountain, will be given one whole year healthy. However, if the the smoke rising crooked, or to the side, it may worry about health problems

• Non is also custom according to which all before dinner washed in water with coins to be complete next year healthy and wealthy.
