Our School
Zanneio Experimental High School of Piraeus is located in 6 Kolokotroni Street. It was founded in 1950s. Its premises are still in Kolokotroni Street in the center of Piraeus.
It has 11 classes consisting of 280 students
who come from the center of Piraeus
and the surrounding areas, and approximately 30 teachers of various specialities. Students can enter Zanneio after a especial selection procedure for the experimental schools in Greece.
Moreover, our school has Computer Labs, Science Labs, Biology Labs, Lecture Hall, a Classroom of Foreign Languages, a Library and Teacher Offices.
Great emphasis is placed on the development of talents and inclinations of our students. There is a wide variety of extra-curricular activities such as cultural projects, and after school clubs covering a wide range of topics. They aim at expanding the student's horizons, broadening their knowledge on specific subjects as well as their knowledge of the world making them socially-aware citizens.Actions are performed in the curriculum. Besides there's a wide range of cross-thematic, innovative, inter-disciplinary activities which enrich the curriculum.
