On this page you can find a work plan on how we managed teams in order to organize the activities, design the quests and then play the Classcraft eco game
First step
Split students in mixed teams and collect their emails (2/4-14/4)
Second step
Collaborative storytelling- April the 15th live activity (link to forum):
"Taking into account the topic of the Classcraft game,“lower your footprint on Earth”, each group member has to decide a subtopic on which design the quest/objective. The structure to follow is:
1) Write a brief introduction of the core activity;
2) choose an article/video/website to consult for gathering information;
3) create a task (word cloud, quiz, post on a shared board, motto, drawing...)."
Students used a shared document to discuss about the task. Below you can find an example from Team 2.
Final step- let's play together!
The game master (Marusca Destino) created the class "eTwinning eco games", designed the quest by collecting the contributions from all the teams, and then sent invitation to students.
"Green Hearts" was played live but it can be continued asynchronously, since the game is self-paced.
Below you can find a short video tutorial to take the first steps into the game

Since we are not birds we need a plane to move from one continent to another, but sometimes we also use it for shorter distances when we could instead choose a more ecological means of transport.
