33rd Athens Authentic Marathon:
In 8th of November 2015 the 33rd authentic marathon was held in Athens. I ran too, in the 5km race. I was taking part there with other students from the school where I study. My physical education teacher also run with us. I must say that it was an amazing experience. Well, I got very tired and I was walking in some parts of the race instead of running. There were people from an Athens radio station playing music for us while we were running in different parts of the race. We were also offered water in the middle of the race. There were lots of people! Even some small children got to run with their parents! At the beggining we were given some instructions and we were told to be careful not to push the runners in front of us e.t.c. At the end of the race we were given water, fruit, juices, bananas and a medal as a reward for running and finished the 5km race. I was running alone during the race, but still it was fun and I really enjoyed it. I would like to run again in a marathon like this someday. And I recommend you to run one day too!
