A proposal for the activity.

There are quite many paintings connecting children, feathers and birds, for example in Google Art gallery.

One of them is "A Girl Writing; the Pet Goldfinch" painted by Henriette Browne around 1870. You can see the direct link to the painting here.

The project activity could be a trial to make a facsimile of the painting by living photograph (acting the scene and environment documented on photograph) or new painting (when a child paint one`s own version of the artwork).
