When we think about saving a planet Earth it is essential to build the bonds between children and nature. It is simple - you care for what you love.

In this project we understand giving the experience of empathy and respect to living creatures as one of important step on the process of care.

These are our ideas on how we can make a difference to the world of birds.

Winter Bird Feeding

Because there were strong winter weather conditions here in Poland, Bees decided to start supporting birds with food. Taking this responsibility requires continuation of the process until spring time, otherwise it could bring danger to birds (when they can`t find food in places it was given before, and some can even die!).

So we do, as a group and with support of parents, providing proper seeds and fat to birds in preschool garden. Here you can see some natural feeders we built with an empty halves of oranges, sticks and string;)

Setting up a bird house shelter

In our preschool garden we set a shelter for a blue tit. Quite many of them were visiting our feeder in a winter time.

Just three days after we did it, one of them started to bring things to the house.
Will they move in?
