Etimesgut Faruk Nafiz Çamlıbel Anatolian High School is situated in the western suburban area of Ankara, the capital city of Turkey. Ankara is the second biggest city of Turkey with nearly 5 million population.Our school is a general high school which prepares students for higher learning institutions. The purpose of our school is to give students a minimum common culture, to identify individual and social problems, to search for solutions, to raise awareness in order to contribute to the socio-economic and cultural development of the country and to prepare the students for higher education, with their interests and skills.Our school provides free educational opportunities and the students are placed according to the results of an examination. Our school has 994 students in 32 classrooms, 72 teachers. In each classrooms we have interactive boards. Our mission is to develop young individuals with active and creative minds, a sense of understanding compassion for others and to improve the skills needed for success in the future and establish values that will allow students to act with throughtfulness and humanity.Our vision is to create a nationally and internationally known high school that produces major gains in student achievement both academically and socially. Our school gives importance international collaboration in the multinational integration procession the European Union. Internationalization is officially stated as one of the school’s focus areas.. Firstly because we think it is extremely important to let young learners from our country meet teachers and students from other parts of Europe.
