20. Impact

  • On this page partners can share what was the impact of the project on each school, on the students and teachers' skills/competences, or others.

    Most of the project objectives were achieved despite the constraints caused by the Covid-19 pandemic in each partners' schools. The defined strategies were successful and well adapted to the project aims.

    Students

    This project had an impact on the students collaborating on it.

    • Development of key competences:
      • multilingual;
      • cultural awareness and expression;
      • digital.
    • Development/improvement of the following skills:
      • ICT; 
      • communication in English,
      • collaboration/team work;
      • creativity,
      • autonomy,
      • responsibility;
      • critical thinking.
    • Knowledge on the European Countries and capitals;
    • Knowledge of cultural and nature attractions from the partner countries;
    • Practical skills for trip preparation have been developed: students can find the airline tickets and accommodation, as well as know the sights of European cities.

    During online lessons students had the opportunity to interact with their team members' which was a motivating factor to keep investing in their education and school chores.

    Teachers 

    This project also had an impact on the teachers who collaborated on it. Collaboration was one of the main strengths pointed by the teachers, which fostered the creation of successful outcomes.

    • Creation of strong bonds between the teachers collaborating on the project;
    • Motivation to work on multi-disciplinary team (teachers collaborating on this project teach different subjects);
    • Improvement on ICT skills (sharing of web 2.0 tools);
    • Improvement of language skills;
    • Knowledge of cultural and nature atractions from the partner countries;
    • Thanks to the partners, the teachers acquired new teaching methods what will continue to help make their lessons more interesting.
    Schools 

    Travelling in European Countries also had an impact in the partners schools.

    • Development of openness and cooperation with schools from other countries;
    • Stronger relationships between students and teachers;
    • Strengthening the European dimension;
    • Motivating more teachers to collaborate on eTwinning projects;
    • Thanks to the project, the worldview of teachers working at the school will also broaden, and the project will attract students from other classes to participate in new projects.
