International Day of Women and Girls in Science: Women and Robotics

  • We plan to do some PBL (Project-Based Learning) research in international eTwinning teams on role models: Women and their relevant work in Robotics.

We suggest these women, but there are many more.

    U9C4: Ada Lovelace

    R2D2: Katherine Johnson

    C3PO: Margaret Hamilton

    WALL-E: Rose Dieng-Kuntz

    PIPPER: Mary Kenneth Keller

    SAM: Hedy Lamarr

Please have a look at our work in Rob & Me last year!!

Each team will post a picture, or drawing, and a relevant sentence, in both English and your language, by the end of January here:

A Kahoot game will be organized for International Day of Women and Girls in Science- 11th February. We will all play online and the winning team will be nominated.

We will all play online under the names U9C4,  C3PO,  and  R2D2, so we all add our score to the teams,  and the winning team will be nominated. As the same name might not be accepted to be used from different devices, we may add .1, .2, ... so we can play several times with different children and from different devices.

To enter the game you may use the GAME PIN: 08494721 or follow this link on the web.

It is possible to play at school or at home, in groups or individually and as many times as you like. You even may use a different nickname, but the only nominated one will be one of the above.

    DEADLINE: 23rd February

Our challenge got to the limited number of players, so great success, these are the ones who got the highest score, congratulations!!!

We have now a new challenge till 21st March. Game Pin: 05081501

Exhibitions of PBL work done will be set in all partner schools,  and in the project TwinSpace.
