Our project High Tech... How to live withOUT it? was managed to make students imagine life without electronic gadgets and use English in communication among them.
It seemed that some young people liked the activities and willingly took part in them. The tasks appeared to be quite interesting and possibility to talk to the foreign students was the greatest attraction. Apart from the activities, they started to chat to each other privately, which also involved them into the English language.
The tasks discovered students' creativity, their ways of dealing with new aspects and technological options. What is more, it appeared that they still have a lot to learn in that field and it is not true that young people know everyting about the Internet capabilities.
As a teacher, I was also tempted by the project. Variety of activities, the pace of achieving goals was not easy but satisfying. It was a great impression to see the products of our students' work in particular tasks.
Moreover, the project gave the opportunity to get to know new Internet tools, which are very interesting and useful. They may be used not only in the project but also in the school process as a difference from regular lessons.

This project had a major impact on me as it was the first time I developed an etwinning project with students who knew nothing about it and having to explain the whole procedure at the distance was a difficult task. It would have been much easier being with the students in a classroom with computers through which I could guide them.
It also had a big impact on my students because they were not used to having content taught this way. Both my students and I learned a lot about new digital tools and it was a big challenge whenever things didn't turn out right as we expected. Students and I were constantly in contact through email, chat and whatsapp. The same happened with my Polish partner. Although distant, the constant contact allowed us to monitor and evaluate project activities and together we managed to overcome difficulties.
This collaboration has deepened our critical thinking, problem solving ability and cooperative skills a lot and has led to the achievement of project objectives. More than that, the project High Tech... How to live withOUT it? has led to the creation of international friendship relations among teachers and students.
