    Activities

    Introduction of partners

    Welcome to my life

    1) Students use a picture taken anywhere in their schools and post it on a two-column padlet mural (one column for each school). They write a few words about themselves.

Partners read the posts to get to know their colleagues and comment at least three.

    2) What do you have in common? Creation of a cooperative AnswerGarden with words showing what students have in common.

    Orientation /Collaboration

    Inventions of a lifetime

    1) In national teams students look for quotes of important inventors. They post them on Twinspace for the partners to find out the authors of those quotes.

This should inspire students to know more about important inventors who lead us to have all technology we have now.

    2) Students search about inventors and their inventions and write a one page report with image to be posted on Twinspace using Madmagz.

Students will be aware of how difficult it was and how long it took until we reached the high level of technology we have today.

    Communication

Technological evolution – Good or Bad?

    1) A discussion on eTwinning Forum is started. All students have to participate in order to think about advantages and disadvantages of technological evolution.

    2) One school investigates about advantages and the other school investigates about disdvantages of technological development. Each group prepares their arguments.

In an oline meeting on eTwinning the two partner schools role-play the discussion and state their different positions and see how they can come up to a final conclusion.

    Collaboration

“The day when the Internet broke down ”

Collaborative writing of a story. Imagine how life would be without Internet, specially now that we are all going through this crisis because of Covid-19. Every student has to to write a part of the story. Illustration and creative film of the story (eg. Moviemaker).

    Evaluation and Assessment

The project will be evaluated throughout the different stages and by means of all activities. Students will have feedback whenever they communicate and cooperate with each other in order to check if they have achieved their objectives.

Teachers will evaluate their written skills (report about inventions, story for the film) as well as their oral skills (discussion about technology, filmed story). Apart from that transversal skills like creativity, communication, collaboration, multiperspectivity, critical thinking and also foreign language and ICT skills will be evaluated by the teachers.

    Follow up

    Evaluation

After the project, students will be asked to give their feedback. They should write about:

    - their experience regarding social isolation and distant learning;

-positive and negative aspects of learning through eTwinning.

    Dissemination

The whole project (objectives, activities, timeline and results) will be avilable on Twinspace.

Information about the project will be shared on the participating schools’ media (website, newsletter and social media).
