Romania - Visit in Crangul Patresti

  •

The students of the Economic College participated in a thematic visit in Crangul Patresti, whose museum is a source of history and culture.

Located in Crângul Petrești, Vânători commune, the Vrâncean Village Museum, ethnography section of the Vrancea Museum, was arranged in 1977 and includes several dozen complete households, annexes, peasant technical installations, administrative and social institutions from the 19th century. All the buildings that can be seen here are made with the materials and techniques used in the areas they come from. Also, household objects, tools used in field work or animal care can be discovered here.

Crângul Petrești is located just a few kilometers from Focșani Municipality, in its northeastern part and is the main space where the people of Focsani - and not only - escape from the suffocating heat of the city to take refuge in the shade of trees.
