Presenting the project to the community
Schools will organize staff meetings and meetings with other important agents to present the project and motivate them to get involved. Presenting project to parents.
Project LOGO
Students will design their logos for the project. After voting in all school, the winning logo wil be chosen.
Challenges.
Students will take up different challenges to change their lifestyle. There will be 10 challenges at the beginning. Challenges they could choose from e.g.:
- Drink a glass of water every morning for one month
- Eat vegetable and a piece of fruit every day for 1 month
- Go running at least for 20 minutes (or 3 km) 2x week for 2 months
- Two weeks without candies, chocolate, and sweet drinks
-- Each student can go for a challenge that is suitable for them. They will keep a diary of records of activities. After completing a challenge, students will be given badges. Students will share their experience on Twinspace Forum.
Creating badges for each challenge.
Schools will share responsibility for creating the badges. Each school will create 2-3 badges.
Online meetings
Students will share their experience; how difficult it is to complete the challenges, how they feel, what they recommend, etc.
Motivation
Each school will create a poster to motivate students to take challenges and not to give up. The poster can be drawn, or made with ICT tools (Canvas, PPT …). Each school will choose the best one which will be printed, shared with other partners and displayed in the schools.
Introducing a new hobby
Schools will invite trainers, coaches to school to introduce clubs or activities in the local area to inspire the students to take up a new hobby. Students will write about it on the Twinspace forum to share their knowledge with their partners.
Moving together.
Each school will organize a sports event for the local community.
National Heroes
Introducing national heroes: athletes, sportsmen, coaches … especially those who had to overcome difficulties, take challenges, and never give up. Students will prepare presentations (ppt, prezi …)
