Cards from Italy
We used origami folding technique to create our cards.
Origami is the art of paper-folding. Its name derives from Japanese words ori (“folding”) and kami (“paper”). Traditional origami consists of folding a single sheet of square paper into a sculpture without cutting, gluing, taping, or even marking it.
We dedided to include in our postcards an extract from a poem by the writer we chose for our book, Gianni Rodari, entitled "l'anno nuovo- the new year".
Riddle me this:
what will the new year be like?
Good, bad or half and half?
It will certainly have 4 seasons and 12 months
and the day after Monday will always be a Tuesaday
For the rest this year will be
how men will make it "

Cards from Croatia
We were doing a Christmas card collage. Students painted Xmas elements, then searched online for a state to send Xmas cards and print their flags. Together we selected the writers Quotes and then we did a collage. We love to play puzzles and hope you enjoy it too.
We have set up an eTwinning corner in our school library, so that everyone in our school can enjoy!
Cards from France
French cards are in black and white, pupils will have to colour them. Colours are indicated at the back of each card. Merry Christmas.
Pupils from Greece have coloured the French cards following the colouring code!
We have also added the Italian cards in the eTwinning corner, so that all pupils in the school have the chance to read the quotes!
